I went to go see Wolverine today and they showed the preview for the upcoming TV show "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." It looks pretty good! The pilot airs Sep 24th. Check it out if you haven't already. http://abc.go.com/shows/marvels-agents-of-shield
For me?... 5... Unfortunately... It wasn't good or bad. Just... Meh. It could have been much better. The best part was probably the teaser that played durning the credit roll.
Does anyone have suggestons on how to be more succesful getting deploy rewards? I've received hundreds of deploy rewards playing pve and I probably have a 1% success rate with actually picking the good reward. It's terrible. I'm missing out on some good stuff. Are there any squares that have better rates or is it completely random?
I just pick a spot and always tap it. I like the top right corner. Does it mean I win more? No. But I don't know for sure if its actually random or if it decides what I'm going to win and sticks it under the spot I click. It makes me feel better always hitting the same spot, because then I never say, "If only I'd tapped the other one I thought about tapping!"
I do that to, but occasionally I will pick a different spot. When I do the good prize is at my original spot. Er!
Yeah. It's definitely rigged. That happens to me all the time. At least you're able to purchase everything in the store. At least I think you can...
That's the only way to play random games. Human intuition about randomness is very very bad, and there are many easy-to-use good PRNGs out there. Rigging it would be worse for them because it's harder to adjust after the fact, vs. tuning some thresholds. They might generate the underlying board after the fact to "retcon" the results, but that's just UI. (Possibly misleading UI, of course, which is :grr:.) PRNG or PRNG-use bugs are not unprecedented in games (Asheron's Call had a *great* one), but Occam would tell us to prefer the "human brains looking for patterns" explanation.
There are items you cannot purchase. Pretty much 1 item per the 6th event of each chapter, and 1 item per hidden/epic boss.
i actually did that for awhile then this one time i thought "oh what the heck... ill try the right one just this time ....", then BOOM!!!!!! the item i wanted pop in the spot i had always clicked before .............
It's funny this has become the topic, but for the last few days (since PvP ended) my daily rewards have all been the crappy ISO fragment, and I'm getting nothing but counter strikes and health 2 packs....same issue though, I stuck with one square for 2/3 of the deploys, and sure enough the one time I didn't pick the same square I missed out on a sweet weapon. Oh well!
It really sucks taking down 30 guys and beating a boss team of like 4 villains only to get a fire extinguisher, which I will never use. Speaking of, does anyone use items? With the exception of a poison for the rare boss fight against someone who avoids all damage for a turn or two, I don't touch any items. I've got a hundred of everything.
When I was able to play the game, one or two weeks back, I would use items to take down bosses with their mini-bosses, but mostly healing. This was fighting against scaled bosses. If the items save me 10 energy, it's usually worth it.
Not really. If you don't have allies you'll pretty much never get shield points which means you'll never be able to level you heroes or purchase items that require shield points. The only other way to get shield points is by trading gold but I wouldn't recommend doing that. It's a waste an not worth it at all.
It's actually better than the fb version since you can add random ppl in-game/by their in-game Id so you don't have to actually add people in your gamecenter or fb accounts at all.
I generally use items in the 6th mission of each chapter and in special ops (coming soon!), which scale to your level the same way 6th missions do. Mostly healing stuff, but a good Kunai Barrage doesn't hurt every now and then.
Just waiting for when we can finally sell items, and be able to switch out items in PvP! Then 5 health packs a day on the "wheel 'o tease" wouldn't seem so bad.
