What's the point of lock boxes? Can't they just sell us Magneto like they have Deadpool and Tigra? Or is it just the money they can get from lock box sales?
Lockboxes represent anti heroes, or heroes for hire. Normally bad guys who aren't actually evil, just what they are doing is bad, or heroes that fight on both sides depending on money, power, etc. That's why we get magneto, omega sentinel, juggernaut, Constrictor, Santana, Elektra, Thane, Loki, Sabretooth, Dr Doom, Moonstone. You can get most lockbox heroes by farming correctly in the spec ops. They normally don't cost money. FYI I just got Dr Doom on the FB one. It took me awhile but it was worth it. Lockboxes are available in different ways, such as Daily Roulette, Spec Ops' Deploys, Boss roulettes, Group Boss, Side Tasks, PvP's Daily PvP Roulette, 5 first Daily PvP wins and Side Tasks, depending on the Lockbox in question.
It's just like the fb version. Basically you need psionic shadow from lv2 to 'augment' her other moves i.e. extra dmg for lv1 and lv9 and quick action for the shield. Although i'm not sure about the extra dmg bit here in mobile.
Doesn't it make sense that you need the shield more so after the 1st round and that's when the quick action is available??
Actually doing things like bosses for lockboxes is cheaper thenbuying with cp. Lockboxes come pretty fast. The trick is to unlock 10 at a time then you get the comic. You get all comics you get the hero. If you get dups you get coin. 10k i think. There is a bar that if you fill with dups you will get a new comic def. Now if you come after the lock box missions are over it will cost you You can get elctra also in lock boxes and she is good. Flor Dr doom i got the day we could unlock them. I got really lucky
Can hardly wait. First time with lock boxes. I like the way this game expands to so many possible combinations. Its like a game of chess but with 100's of pieces (heroes, items, weapons, skills) This reminds me of Euchre we used to play at work at lunch. You'd never know what trick someone would come up with at the last minute to take the prize. I've successfully been able to trump hotshot now and some new weapons trump other heroes skills and then they bring out a hero to trump that weapon!!! All so fascinating!!! Just love this game but gets damn frustrating when you get your ass whipped too often!! But I've got some artillery to whip some butt too so it works both ways.
I play so on and off I was honestly surpised i got him. You should see my armory and hero bonus. It is god awful, but I am somehow pulling diamond. It's cause of generalist quicksilver and his preemptive punches.
The bar that fills up when you get duplicates has only been recently implemented in the fb version. Doubt it's implemented in mobile from the start, but i haven't updated my app in awhile so i haven't seen the new lockbox tab. I'm still putting off updating since i'm still levelling up some heroes. BTW besides psylockes shield, apparently they fixed kitty as well. And someone mentioned in the other forum that QS' ai don't go straight to bruisers anymore in def.
Well im face book im better if i dont play. My def is great but i suck at attacking. Lol. Im slowly rising and i havent really attacked in the last week.
Group bosses?? Googled it but guess I'll find out when I play it. I know you get prizes such as lock boxes that's all. When do you fight this group boss? Does he just show up while you're in a battle? All new to me this and how do you assist allies? No idea how all this works.
What chapter? How am I going wrong in CP farming? I'm not scoring any. I read online that critical hits on epic bosses will sometimes deliver CP, but that hasn't worked for me either.
By mission one i think he meant ch1 mission 1. Crit hit on epic bosses wont drop cp at all. This used to happen in the early version of the game in fb but they changed it.
