Yeah, in the FB version and mobile version it seems Mental Coordination procs way more for the computer than players. They say differently, but this is a big complaint among FB users.
Signpost bug? Any of you guys notice a bug when using signpost - on the third use, it doesn't do anything? (it shows the animation, but the opponent's heroes don't lose anything, and your agent doesn't gain anything, either.)
I don't know if I've seen it used three times... I do notice that (when the AI uses it) the Signpost sometimes only heals the agent. Maybe it has some kind of miss / dodge / fail thing in it?
SP is only supposed to heal the agent, not the team as well. What I'm seeing is more infrequent use. Whereas at the holidays the AI would have the agent pop it every turn, now it's maybe 1 out of 3 turns or so....fine by me....the quicker it and HS are nerfed the better
THEORY. (I've touted this before). I'm at 1%-ish and have been for almost 3 weeks. This season I've gotten all the way down to 0.39 and held it for a few days. At this level I really just don't see the Signpost / Hotshot combo used. I do not think high ranking players are using Signpost / Hotshot. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm just lucky and don't see it often. Maybe everyone at 0.3% is using it now and I just don't know. (if anyone else has evidence, let me know.) When I decided to stop using it last PVP (switching to Psylocke / Grey Suit Black Widow, quantum jumper, momentum generator, scroll and possessed pistol (now rocket pistol)) I went from struggling to stay at 1200 to being happily and easily at about 1%. I stuck with not using it this season and, like I said above, am doing great around 1%. Currently there are about 700 people ranked higher than me. At my best there were only 250 people in the world higher than me. And I wasn't using the "most broken, complained about, hated" weapon combo in the game.
Today i climbed from 1300 to 2000ish and almost every opponent i go against have HS+SP or at least just the SP. I dunno, maybe i'm just unlucky lol.
Hmm. Maybe how often you attack relates to how often you're attacked? I barely played over the weekend
It seems to be a thing with the (relatively stupid) rating system, that the pro as hell players sit around for the whole season and then play the last day and whoop the bejesus out of everyone. Since most people appear to have been playing their 5 matches and done, easily climbing the rankings with a terrible setup, the pro players get to just steamroll their way to the top with however many extra energy tokens they have saved up. It's a really horrible system and I'm glad I've decided to not participate past my 5 matches. I'm 0 for 3 after lunch today on offense, and I had not lost a single offensive fight for the last two weeks. None of them were really even close. Now I'm seeing teams with 2 heroes with alt uniforms at L12 and all their hero bonuses in green and the expensive 64g weapons so it might even be an uphill battle for me to hit the gold level. Do they change the way PVP rewards people at some point on the facebook version?
Just wondering if you are being sarcastic about uphill battle for gold? Because if you havent lost a battle until today i would thing you be vib or at least high diamond. Anyways it also depends on the level. Through the pvp you will level up and then take on different teir people. Also the higher you get the harder it will be. If you have a lvl 12 hero you will have their alt costume also at level 12. You dont have to relevel it. I have lost more no too with battles. It will happen. They all cant be winners kid. (Name that movie for exp)
Most of the "top" players get to .20 and up and stay there, because getting attacked is less frequent up there. The pushing you see is generally the vibranium and backend of ada crowd trying to get their place.
I've only lost twice on offense since the start of PVP but can't get into Vibranium, losing on defense plus the fact it takes forever to complete a match now and I don't have the patience. Only have done 90 matches sitting at 4.8%. Debating if it's worth playing all day to try to get in.
Is anyone aware of what the 0.5% cutoff is? I'm suddenly getting defense victories (thanks, last minute push!) and curious if I should try now.
No, I am literally losing all of my battles on attack after 100 or so of not losing on attack. I'm not complaining really, I don't care about PVP. I fight my 5 attacks, I lose 5-10 times on defense over night, I win 5 again, I stay in distance of gold and that's that. PVP right now requires way too much investment in time and money to be fully competitive and I think it's kinda dumb how things shift around entirely on the last day. All I want is the free gold, I don't have any illusions about my playing twice a day being good enough for any of the elite rewards.
Omg Edward is playing now lol Also to master d ... Im attacking now... I win... And by the time im done i lost 2 battles. I understand what you saying. I dont want an aneurism trying to get a crappy hero. Only god thing about this pvp is when it ends. At night i may have time to try... But i bet i will be playing with my kid instead. Farm cp for the heros i say.
Yup! I've gotten something like 50 CP since Tigra was released, so I dont sweat not getting a hero. And I'll be cooking dinner, going to the library and taking my nightly walk with the kid during the last 3 hours of PVP. Always important to remember that none of this matters.
Agreed, it's not that important. The perpetual dangling carrot of this game and occasionally frustratingly unbalanced gameplay are a constant reminder to always like my games, but love what matters. Has most of your CP farming come from 3.5? I think it's 3.5. The one with Elecktra?
