Purchased coulson's and the ale gun that causes bleeding. Both are pretty strong weapons that when used correctly can be game changers
I'm still curious why Pawn is the only chess set gear they left for sale....I know 2 have to b earned, but Knight had to b bought. I can't find a good use for the Pawn without the Knight, so now I'm feeling like I got hosed...
I agree it kind of sucked overall. The scroll and the witch hunter were useless unless u missed getting angolob in PvP. Since I already had Magik, no Bennie there, and god I wish I had half the CP for Cable. Coulsen's seemed great at first but the caveats to making it work well would've been more CP I already don't have dumped towards all the costumes. Everything was too expensive and honestly, I think they prob did this same gear last Xmas, but since mobile took a different path on PvP and SO, I think it ended up failing for the most part.... I'm not sure I like the path they're going with iOS mobile. We're already paying more for gear, and since characters are releasing at different times, some of these special weapons and gear are already obsolete. And don't even get me started on how they screwed us on the epic boss for SO by adding Rogue (a prem character no less) as a required deploy. Lol Just seems like they want their hands on our money more and more...this keeps up I'm gonna regret the $20 I dropped on this game. IMO, that's waaaaaaay too much for what we have on hand. Rant over...
So I'm going back and doing the epic boss levels that I didn't 5 star. I'm getting 5xp per battle?! How are you supposed to level a character anymore? They completely screwed this game up on the last update. With hotshot and scroll, no other weapons are really needed for pvp. Posessed pistol does the same damage as coulson's revenge, it just misses frequently w no cool down needed. Psylocke is so broken its not even funny, when I come up against her I figure it will be a loss. Rant on...
Psylocke is not a problem if you have a good damage dealing weapon (Coulsons revenge, Roar of the North) and sudden support as you can kill her in one shot
I agree. I havent lost to her unless she is first and agent is 2nd with a quantum jumper. That i just laughed aa they killed my entire team before i even attacked.
Have to use 5 star missions for Xp now, and use the later chapters. This is something they did in FB and I have no problem with it. It cuts out a shortcut for sandbaggers. Use your timers on a decent basis and level 3-4 characters at a time, and you would only need to run missions for items.
Just an FYI. I read that the newer iso gems were recently added and found in the lines of code in AA. So we might be getting those soon.
I have both, I can rarely one shot her. If my agent goes first with hotshot followed by blaster Thor's summon lightning attack with MM stack, I will win. Thor's hammer throw with MM stack hits harder than any weapon I have in my arsenal. If I get a melt armor before I summon lightning, I can usually finish an entire team with that attack.
I think Rocket Pistol was the best item overall. Glorious weapon, great effects and just killer in the hands of a tactician against a blaster. Dealing double bleed to the whole group? Woooooohoo.
I agree, rocket gun was the best item out of the bunch I think. When I meet with someone using it I get wary and try to play around it with my scroll. Unlike when I meet someone with say a CR where I just do my usual thing because it's more luck based.
Yeah! Man, when someone used CR on me and my Scarlett Witch Hex caused it to misfire, killing the agent and winning the fight... Yeah. Good day.
Just fought someone who had CR, with Emma. It procced and her additional attack was mental tap. I wonder if that is the same it she procs with psylocke's mental coordination.
They don't want us to level up? So they want the same mob to dominate forever? If you're new there's just no way to progress. What's the point of playing?
I made the same point earlier and one guy made fun of me saying it was fair. How is it fair ? How are we supposed to level up players after 5 starring a mission when the hero is only on level 2 and can only use 2 do their abilities ? Isn't that like a handicap. It probably seems fair to the people who have more then half their heros at level 12. One of the players had already leveled 22 of his heros to level 12 before the beginning of the last pvp. Probably had more than 30 level 12 players in his team while the new people will really struggle leveling up their players.
