Yea im still hanging around 0.12% right now. But i'm guessing it's because of x-mas so people haven't really been playing much, plus its still early in PvP. I'll prob go back down when people are starting to play more actively. About the rule, i'm actually still testing if it holds or not.
For anyone who has second thoughts about the prev day "Xmas sale" weapon, I noticed this yesterday and confirmed today: it was about 10:50 CST and I clicked on the announcement button (top lft of helicarrier screen, one that looks like a tower) and yesterday's weapon (pistol) was back up. I took the risk of buying it....and it's mine! So, just in case anyone has 2nd thoughts, whatever time zone ur in, abt 10 min's ago each day u can check the announcements (or close app and go back in...sometimes pops up that way too) to see if the prev day weapon pops back up I was waiting on an offer to process so I had my gold and it wasn't until this morning, so very pleased
Is anyone using the chess set in PVP? Some how i ended up with the Rook in my inventory. Was thinking about buying pawn but not sure knight will go up again.
I have a hunch it will....holding out myself. To b honest, the Rook is not hard to beat and I haven't been just straight out killed by it. The entire chess set is not hard to beat, but I have a setup in mind for the Pawn (which I did purchase) and the Knight. @ Patch - Yep, draws r possible, and absolutely suck @ andysmash - Not up to you yet, but I just did 5 attacks and went from 18% down to 8%. I'm gonna push today and have a hunch I'll b in or near vibra by the end of the day.
I hit 2.9% PVP with only 25 attacks, my defense was killing it but now the tide is starting to turn. I didn't win a single defense last night.
I used it for a while and had good luck with it. It is the perfect Phoenix killer, as the multiple shots allow her to get knocked out, come back and then immediately go down again, if you time it correctly. Since Phoenix is so popular, that's a nearly foolproof way to get rid of one member of a team. That said, if it is any indication of how good it is in the long run, I haven't seen it since I was at 15%-ish. No one in the 3% or lower PVP range uses it.
You can't look at it as damage against most heroes, but a semi stun, with a chance for damage. Them not being able to hurt you, is considerably good. From what I have read though, is if you have emma, you mental anguish x23 if they have her.
I had to delete the app, reinstall and then do a hard reset before reopening. Seemed to fix a lot of issues. Especially crashing after just a couple of fights or on the Mystique fight. No sync issues at all since doing this. Might be worth a shot if you haven't done it already. I was finally able to get Emma after doing this.
Yeah i'd love to snag Cable, but like you i'll have to hit the daily spin. All I've been getting is crappy ISO.
They said thexMas sale is ending but they've had hardly anything worthwhile except for perhaps Cable. I was hoping for something really cool. Maybe New Year sale??
Coulson's Revenge is out now. Does the 3 round cooldown mean it can't be used until the third round? If so, that would make it useless for PVP.
I've always wondered why it never gets used in PVP. It's not a weapon of choice I've only seen it used once ever. The thing today is stuns and getting more turns. If you can stun your opponent and get extra turns you can beat them with anything. That's why Hotshot is way more popular than this. Hot shot and scroll of Angolob and Sinistermscepter etc are the real winners. I don't see this anywhere in a PVP. Also I think you have to wear the costumes which means you lose other buffs. With Phoenix you lose extra lives with a different costume. Not worth it. I wouldn't waste my money because if your 3 characters get stunned by Hotshot what you going to do? This won't help.
I think without costumes it'll give you the extra attack bonus. So it is still useful even without any avengers costumes. Now when we use it i think it'll just be so so, but we all know when AI plays they got amazing proc rate so~~~ maybe it will be very good for defense. I only have 27 gold so i don't think i can buy it anyways lol and i'm never ever going to buy gold in this game seeing how ridiculous they do their gold pricing.
Don't waste your gold on coulsons revenge the coordinated attack hardly ever functions used it in 10 pvp games worked about 2-3 times total not even an average of 1/2 per pvp game. Also the other avengers need to be in their avengers assemble costume for the second and third passive to be effective which is again a waste of heros that can be brought to the battle. The effect only takes place once your hero finishes a turn so if your hero is the last one to go will not be effective for the entire first round. The cost is also too high.overall would not recommend it. Edit : Used it in pve missions too, it was effective in maybe 2 battles out of the 10-12 battles I played including a boss missions in which it had 3 rounds to take effect, didn't even happen once in that battle.
Agreed 100%. Very well put. Whether or not the AI uses it in defense I've no idea though. I thought about it but you've got to bring all the heroes along too and although it may work with other heroes I don't see it at all in PVP. Why didn't they give us some costumes in the sale?
Well you dont need to bring the other heroes, think of it as an item that gives a lesser Mental coordination and has a long cooldown so that you can make the AI have less option to choose from. Now i'm in a bit of a dilemma, should i buy cable and lv him up so i can use him before the end of PvP or should i save my CP to buy the new hero that might be a pre-req for the next SO? Opinions?
