Cap and SW went 1-4 on D last night so I actually switched to alt Kitty and GR with phase and counter setup on agent. Not going to attack until later and see how this does. If no go, I have another set up in mind......
Five star them. I like chapter 9 mission 6 premium because the dark sigil is 700+ on off and def for pvp if you get it. I get through it easy with a protect and phase for my agent with counters. So my low level heros win n not die. Also really cant believe how much i hear how its not fair that you cant level up easy and fast. I always five starred my missions right away and never even tried it the other way. I would rather have the golden weapon and the cp you get. I always thought if you play against the hardest it would make you a better player.
So anybody have any idea if they'll put he Knight back up for sale?? I've debated Pawn but don't think id use it or run the chess set anyway. Thoughts??? Are they just going to keep the pawn and knight is gone now? Say it ain't so!
My suggestion if you have a phased agent is to get a mfg with it also. Reason being is hopefully he will use it for his 2nd move and stay phased longer.
Yeah just went on to play and nothing is coming up on the missions again. Sync error too. Im just going to wait to late afternoon to play again. There are having bad issues with that last update.
I figured out why Cap wasn't blocking the Hotshot - unknown to me, you can now use Scroll to remove Cap's protect. Had no clue. Scroll never removed that before, did it?
The bugs are killing me! So my missions magically reappeared and I went for the 2 bird on Juggernaut...BTW Emma's unlock potential combined with SW's single tgt attack will take Jugs out in 1 hit!......so I beat toad 2nd round no problem. Buuuut, as I was playing I noticed when my turns came up, it's like the screen refreshed from a still and just popped up the next sequence. Well, insta crash after beating Toad and so now no boss spin Are they trying to **** with us? I mean hell, I gave them money already and they won't put up any items I want, and all after the mission nerfing, and now all the crashes using up our extremely limited uISO. Think I'm gonna go play Colossotron for the rest of the day....
I didn't know about this game so missed out on items like scroll of Angolob, sinister scepter Scepter etc and it's these set ups which are my obstacles to getting into the higher leagues. People with these items eventually also get power armor which make them impossible to defeat. Now Vibranium league is dominated with these people and there's nothing you can do. Last PVP it was the scroll, scepter and hotshot which dominated now this season those players have also got power armor so there's the same group of people winning and dominating every PVP. What I'm saying is that unless you were there from day one its a waste of time competing in PVP because winning is determined not by tactics but by who began playing Avengers first. Playdom have deliberately done this to get people who are behind to purchase but the items sold are TRASH and will not make the playing field more even. This game is dead if you don't stand much chance and you don't.
I'm getting pretty pissed with PvP. Two damn games in a row, both agents were set up with HS, SP, scroll an QJ, and with WC Phoenix. Both games I got f'ing stunned every damn f'ing round by hotshot. First, I thought there was a cool down....even if not, I thought it was impossible to be stunned twice on a row either by the same weapon or becuz it would b twice I a row...but lo and behold both games at least 2 characters were stunned each and every damn round. WTF is the sense of getting any other gear if these piece of $#!+ weapons are going to continue to dominate....no, infest and ruin....PvP EDIT: now I'm gonna go b a d'bag and put this setup on my agent. Rant over....hope this is nerfed very soon....
I'm just not even bothering with pvp just doing 5 matches a day for the spin. I enjoy the game so much more when I don't have to stress over pvp and put so much time into it. Just not worth it
Yep just did my five. Got my spun and got my battle. Only battles and energy i get from them. My def since this morning lost. Still unable to do any missions. Maybe tomorrow. Funny i did more missions on my facebook then my moblie. Btw i play the facebook on my ipad mini on the photon app. No crashing at all ither then when i collect friends gift to fast. They have a pvp going in now too.
That's all i'm doing, so that's the sad part. My offense is usually 90% win rate, but I actually have more wins on D than O. Since I did the switch, I've gained 20 on D. Just crappy it has to b this way.
Most of the time i'm guessing the agent will MFG 1st before using the scepter. Scroll had ALWAYS removed cap's protect. If you're still using cap/SW i tried that combo and i find that its not putting enough damage output but maybe its just my agents item. Kitty/GR is just a bad combo i think i can see no reason to fear this match up if im playing against you. HS,SP,QJ,Scroll + WC well thats my current set up atm lolz and itll get you to at least Vib no problem. I have 95% win rate on O with the 5% being Triple stun on my team/bad turn order on my part (i.e. the order goes AAABBB)/Opponent bonus is way better than mine. And on D you might lose and go down to diamond but you'll see more wins on D by then.
The AI cheats like hell too. My heroes buffs only work once in a while but the AI work ALWAYS. Take Psylocke and mental coordination. Works every enemy AI I face but hardly ever works when I use her. Sick of Angolob and Hotshot too. Can't do anything about it. I lost because of hotshot stuns no matter I got terrific gear. Those with Hotshot and power armor are unbeatable. There's nothing on sale to break the vicious cycle. Playdom are shooting themselves in the foot. Sooner or later people will leave if they can't progress and it'll kill this game. Rant not over.
At Squeek, (above) ice's setup. What bothers me is that (on offense) I can get hit by hotshot literally every round....that shouldn't be happening. It's just infuriating to know that I HAVE to do this to stay competitive. Exploits don't make it ok, and I'm not cool with being forced to douche it up because they made this setup particular OP and quite a few items have opened since then....and heros. At Worldcitizen, I do agree on the AI somehow cheating (based on above statement). As far as earlier gear being better, not necessarily so. Do I think chess set is better than te demon set? Well, they haven't nerfed demon yet so no....for now. I guess over time that is what's frustrating me. Some things/characters work as they always should, and others don't. And then things change and ur grind strategy gets shot to hell. So agreed that it makes progression a pain. Every time the game kicks me in the &$$, I just try to plug on....now if I could only find a mission that gives more than 8 xp.....
