At 1% in PvP for the first time ever. Before, I was just playing for the daily rewards, now I'm actually getting stressed. Yay?
Funny I just play for the reward so I'm in the gold league. I rather have the gold then the weapon in the next teir up.
all my attacks today are either against people of the same level but -800 rating, or people -200 rating but six levels above me. So I either fight them for +1 point, or risk winning +4/+5 points and losing -20 on the revenge I end up backing out of 90% of my assigned fights
Just attacked for the 100th time in PvP and I'm officially in the adamantium league for the moment. This is going to stress me out more than just spending 135 cp in a month. Wish me luck (or don't, since you probably want my spot).
I keep bouncing in and out of the 1390-1425 range. I was reading and they said for the current amount of people you need to be around 1408+ to be in the .5%, but I don't trust it. Too many people playing, I would guess 1450 to play it safe. Good luck for everyone trying to get there. And yeah, it is a little stressful, Everytime I check my PVP score hoping someone didnt take a huge chunk of it. What is your lineup?
Bruiser World War Hulk, Tactician WWII Cap, Scrapper Agent with Misma Cannon, Pyro Technique, and Construct Matrix. It may be helping me out too since I'm only lvl 45. My characters are both lvl 7.
Woke up this morning having dropped 300 points, putting me at 7% in the Diamond League. So did something happen last night? Haha. I really doubt I'll have time to spend getting back up. That's unfortunate. Hope PVP gets reworked a little for next time.
This happens to me too im at around 1400 and 90% of the time i get matched up with people on 200-600 rating... What is up with the match finder algorithm?
That's weird. I have been just the opposite. I'm about 1400 and 90% of my matches have been people around 1000 to 1200. My only problem is that I have been seeing more competition come up over this last week. When the tournament first started I didn't have a single fight that I had trouble with until at least a week in. I think people figured out what the pvp bonus was for and started using WWII Cap. Now everytime I fight someone around 1200 they actually have a pretty decent team and they have been getting me back on the revenge for 4 times the amount of points I took from them in the first place. For the last week I've been sitting at 1400 and laying low. I've been trying to minimize my revenge attacks by not attacking too many people in a day. I only do my 5 attacks and then I'm done. Today's different though. I'm all in. I've been saving energy points and it's on! I just wish the tournament wasn't ending at 5AM (pacific).
Just fyi, less then 24 hours, the 1% threshold was around 650, so .5% will be around 325. I ended last night at 1422, woke up to 1342 =/, back up to 1388.
Is your Agent level 30 yet? I had the same issue, hit the next big level up tier for our Agent and now I'm in the big boy league, lotsa fun now! Level 30 opens up new ISO8s and PvP armory. Be prepared.
I've been in adamantium since the first few days of the tournament and 325 has been the cut off since I first got in. I expect that it will stay there. I don't think we'll see any new players come in today.
Wait, is this a bug or is this normal? I did PVP play last night and used low level guys, trying to get them leveled up. When I went to do a PVP match just now the team I was using in PVE replaced my Hulk / Cap team. Is that why I lost like 20 matches overnight? I don't recall that ever happening before.
Yes, this happens. I made a post about it earlier in this thread. Whatever units you are using for PVE end up replacing the units you have for PVP. I lost several battles because I was trying to farm an elite boss because of this. I think it's total BS. It's also total BS that this days long event ends at 5am PST.
