I don't know how it worked for everyone else, but I did my 5/day and floated around 900-1000, after losing 4-5 every night, so it was just treading water. Then I tried to make a push on the last day and ended up in Gold because something was up with the matchmaking and I kept losing a whole lot of matches that I didn't lose before. I was near 100% attacking and near 0% on defense. I'm just doing PVP for the 10g and bonus XP/box every day this time. I don't think it's worthwhile to play in PVP as the game is set up right now, because you have to spend a whole lot of effort on the last day making things work out. And maybe things work out better at L150+, I dunno. Maybe it's just a little useless to try at lower levels where people are twinking out?
The trick is to do your five a day... Then with about 3-4 days left get to AD .5% league, then jut keep you self around .4%. The last day you need to check every hour to make sure you are still there. Then the last hour you need to play. I didnt get it because i was on the road for the last 40mins. This one should be done dec 10th or 11th. Perfect cause im not working those days.
This might have been a bad season to rush 30 levels up, since I kinda outlevelled grief and hotshot. Thinking maybe hold onto all my gold and not buy *any* of the 64g weapons. I can just buy x23 later with that gold, haha.
Found a decent defensive combo, going 10-9 even have wins against people 15-20 levels higher than me. Running Bruiser Agent GSBW Tac WC Phoenix Blaster Items Signpost, Quantum Jumper, Hoarfrost, Monstrosity. So my agent is literally nothing but support and a tank. The weaken from BW's first ability does stack with monstrosity's ability. The only real drawback I see, is a 1-2 times on offense I ran low on stamina for BW, since EVERYONE has a Blaster right now, so she is getting multiple attacks every round.
I think everyone decided to push up 20-30 levels. I am meeting a lot of familiar names from last season.
I have hardly come across anyone using valkrie, quick silver, ghost rider and absolutely no deadpool or beast. The following are the most encountered heros : Captain A Phoenix Herc Black W Storm Colossus Psylocke Etc. Wish they would try to make each hero equally powerful (more or less). Cause after a while playing pvp, makes it seem redundant. Even the weapons used by the agent hardly change. No wonder so many people aren't taking any interest in the pvp tournaments.
Attaching a screenshot failed so ill just say what happened. I just battled a person in pvp who had Wolverine's alternate costume,which isn't out yet.
All of his costume is out. Just that it has different skills on diff version of the game i.e fb and playdom.
Man.... Imagine if this game had the same skills of the FB. Id probably use wolverine and cyclopes lol
I've got a nice combination going. Good synergy. Tank hero with bruiser power armor, gems for defense and evasion. Equipped with Hoarfrost, Barrowguard, Soulfinder and Fistborne Defibrillator. Soulfinder and Fistborne both have a counter, so I almost always get the counter in. Soulfinder applies Sin and Fistborne has a 30% chance to stun! meaning I might get a stun when attacked, which is great. Then Ghost Rider (to go along with the Sin I apply) and Inf White Crown Phoenix. Those two do huge damage and have resurrection powers. 50% defense wins last night!
What level are you? Faced a lot of quicksilver, ghost rider, and valk. Valk + phoenix + barrowguard and hoarfost make something called the zombie team, which is a tough team to beat.
I four starred it, just to get all the stuff, but DO NOT 5 star it. It is easy cp + armory items + a decent pvp item + experience. Seriously the best chapter in the game right now.
2nd that notion. If (and really when) u fight all bosses at once (2battles) you make over 1000 xp between the regular and then epic fight. I ranked my agent about 15 times b4 PvP started. Great way to take a new hero up the ranks fast too. But yeah, do not 5 star it...
