I've been trying new items all day. Using WC phoenix and herculus still. Just changed my weapons to signpost, sudden support, scroll, and possessed pistol. This way I have three quick action items so possessed pistol will always be the weapon and hopefully sudden support will be used with it. The damage is great with SS. I also switched my bruiser agent back to blaster.
I haven't faced anyone with scroll, do you have psylocke? Her ai is actually perfect for defense. And I haven't been impressed with the blaster armor. On my side, I literally lost 3 in a row after I went 14-3. But they were all 15-25 levels higher. So I have no idea how good my D is.
Yeah scroll I don't really see anymore but figured I would use it as a dummy weapon it could be useful though at times. Originally had chrono in its place but it can undo SS which is better. If I didn't waste 64 gold on barrowguard I would have bought the new quick action stark weapon instead. That would have been perfect. Hmm maybe I will switch back to bruiser agent I will see how I do on defense tonight. I do have Psylocke she was the only pvp hero I got, so I have her at level 12. She is good, do you think I should replace Herculus with her?
finally got enough ISO to finish the epic loss for Val, but what happens? I don't get credit for it and I didn't get the 5 CP that the roulette landed on! What the????

That's why I was using herculus...I could put my P5 Colossus back in. Using Psylocke now on offense and she's destroying everyone, I forgot how good she is.
My Psylocke is two hours away from level 9, at which point she will be my top damage dealer. And yeah... Considering buying gold for that Stark gun...
With scroll being used A LOT less, psylocke makes a lot of sense. So does Herc, as he becomes the strongest hero after the 2nd-3rd round. By A Lot less, I have attacked 13 times today and seen 1 scroll. I imagine maybe 5% of teams will use it.

So I just go to 1142 .05 and figured I have to be in the top 50. And it's not even close. 50th had 1243. This means there are a lot more people playing than last season. I really hope this stays like this.
Still in the 900 range, don't think would be able to make the Ada league this time. Hope other people are having better luck than me.
Have to say, my prediction was off. I'm not seeing that many team variations in my fights. The only variation i'm seeing is the agent's suit/weapons.
I've been seeing more variation but it normally goes Agent, Phoenix, insert hero here. I have seen a couple psylocke, quicksilver teams. Quicksilver, hulk teams. But Phoenix is still just OP.
Did anyone else not get attacked at all last night? Maybe level 176 just doesn't have a lot of competition? Haha. Anyway, My Bruiser Power Armor agent in full tank gear, Quicksilver and Psylocke team is doing wonderful on attack. When Psylocke pops that mental coordination and then Quicksilver gets two turns through the protector, each which gets a coordinated attack from one of my guys... yeah. Awesome. In fact, having both Quicksilver and Psylocke have stealthy attacks is proving very useful. I also put One Man Army on my agent as the sole offensive weapon, and while the damage isn't anything special, applying a weakness and hitting splash damage that burns (and can't be protected against by anything) is really great.
Out of curiosity how do you know this or are you just guessing? I've got 160CP and I was saving up for DP and whatever Tigra is going to cost me. I wouldn't mind getting all of the .6 mission heroes instead if I'm going to have a couple months to farm up more CP to get the stuff for the Magneto/Havok spec ops.
