Love this game... But I'm sad. I know why they did it but I hate they did it... I get pop up ads in my game now er.
I put a team up, got whooped all the way down to 600, read some stuff, and now I am anywhere from 950-1000. I have been using generalist agent, defensive captain America, and human torch. The teams I have had the most problems with are 1 same setup as me, and normally they ave better gear and win. 2 defensive captain America, WWII hulk. This is a team I want to try. Inspiring leadership + hulk's warcry, makes captain America's counter attacks hit very hard. I think they make the agent a blaster or tactician. 3 Phoenix + ms marvel. I cannot beat this team. I just get whooped. Working on making this team as well.
Looked it up. The first level up on FB cost 8 shield points, not 12 like on iOS. I'm getting some guys to lvl 6 and that's 22 shield points, whereas it was 22 to get to lvl 8 on Facebook. But, research was taken out, which was another system that used shield points. I don't know... It may balance in the end.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the Construct Matrix support weapon? 26 gold, creates a deflector shield on all teammates, and heals for three turns. I just played a guy who had one. He had two characters at full health when he knocked me out (lost 27 points). He was a blaster, with Bruiser Black Suit Spider-Man and Scrapper Wolverine.
Is that the gadget that creates a mirror image? All it does is basically gives evasion for 2 single target hits. Quite a few weapons/heroes have multi hit attacks, so I never felt it was a threat. I never really saw it heal either. There are better things to use I feel.
No. What you are thinking of is called Digital Decoy which I find to be fairly effective. The defense teams use single attacks more often with my experience so it work well when attacking. Here is a list of gear I found on the Internet by some guy named Michael Strauss. I thought it was helpful. Also, some of these don't exist yet in the ios version. Just FYI. A poorly equipped agent is practically useless and significantly increases the difficulty of battles. The following is some of the best equipment for your agent in Marvel: Avengers Alliance. Curative Reach - This item is a great low and mid level game item that will heal all three characters in a single action. The healing is increased depending on the attack value of the agent, so a high attack agent that is strengthened can potentially heal almost 100% of all damage in an action. The one downside of this item is that the PvP AI uses it poorly and you may want to replace it before logging off if you participate in PvP. Offensive Accelerator - This is another item that is particularly useful at lower levels. Early in the game, enemy defense and hit points tend to outpace the offensive potential of the agent and heroes. This item strengthens all characters, which helps level the playing field. Characters affected will completely dodge the next two single target hits on that character. Magnetic Field Generator - This item grants a shield to all characters and grants an additional turn to that character when the shield is dropped. Should I put ISO in as soon as possible or just wait until I'm a higher level to get better ones? Or can I re-slot later?
Put ISO in at any time and replace it with better as you go. You can just socket new on top of the old. Only thing to consider is using your really good ones if you think you'll get a better costume later. I waited until my lvl 65 costume before socketing the really good ones I'd gotten personally.
Never found it particularly effective, my team utilizes DoTs which bypasses shields. Additionally, most of the time I can down a shield in one attack. I'm assuming the regen portion requires the shield to be active? The few times I saw it being used I never felt intimidated or annoyed by it. Quantum Jump and Magnetic Field Generator are the ones that annoy me the most from that list. The curative reach item is one I put in because there are just some situations where I can get by with just a tad more health. It may be true that the construct matrix is better than curative reach, however one can be obtained with silvers and one requires gold.
Has anyone's ranking dropped down to pretty much nothing? I've been at 1% teetering between adamantium and vibranium ever since last week. I usually sit right around 200 to 300 on the rankings. I played a few matches 30 minutes ago and was still about in the same spot. I just logged in a few minutes ago and I got a pop up saying I was in the SILVER league! WTF?! My ranking is now 57,038! WTF?! Seriously? What's going on? Has this happened to anyone else? ***EDIT: False alarm apparently. Must have been a temporary glitch on the servers. I was about to send a nasty support request to Playdom... I guess I need to be more patient.
Thanks for the ISO tips. But new question...My progress was completely wiped just now? I went to play and it restarted from scratch. I figured iCloud didn't sync or something, but nope...It logged me in and everything. What gives?
You game isn't saved through iCloud as far as I know. Everything is stored on playdom's servers. I think something weird is going on right now. Like I said a little bit ago, my pvp progress pretty much got wiped out and then it came back up after not too long. Just wait it out.
Yup the PvP wipe thing happened to me too. I still got my rating but it somehow kicked me out of the (top x %) ranking and put me on the bottom silver rank. But now its back to normal again
The "Your Agent" ranking has never been CLOSE to accurate for me. Of course, that's assuming my rank in the Top 50 is anything close to accurate, either. The two have never matched, with my Your Agent being many rankings lower - and typically with a higher overall score than the two or three people listed directly above me. Although on the off chance there IS one useful number in that screenshot - 57,038 as the possibly current number of players in PvP - that would make the cutoff rank for Adamantium to be placing in the Top 285 scores. Again, though, that information is useless when you never know if you're seeing you're proper rank on any of the ladders. Yesterday I did a whopping one attack (needed it to hit a plateau to start training for another level). Logged in this morning and earned a "Golden Hour" bonus spin from succesful DEFENSES. ... okay.

Just had the weirdest bug, I was training colussus to lvl 4, went and pvp'ed and my training switched to captain america at lvl 10. Still only took away lvl 4 cost, and the timing for training was still only lvl 4. And by weirdest bug, I mean best bug ever.
I bought the contruct matrix after seeing your post, shot up from 975 to 1100, back down to 1077. This item is seriously good. I also use offensive acc, and 2 weapons.
Can you use two shields at the same time? Construct Matrix and MFG? I have the MFG and just bought the construct matrix this morning because I was going to try the healing buff, but I think that might have been a mistake. I might just have a really expensive pvp bonus now...
Has anyone had problems collecting their daily gifts. I used to be able to collect 50 gifts a day. For the last 3 days I have only been able to collect 10 or 11 and then it tells me to come back tomorrow to collect more gifts. What's up with that?....
I only have the 1 shield from the construct, I use the multi heal, and the offensive accelerator. I know all these can stack, but I haven't tried another shield item with it yet.
