Finally got monstrosity! Had two on my roulette so I did three respins and got it. Now on to debating spending 64 gold on barrowguard....

 

Gotta do it! Revive is huge + every time the agent uses it, you regenerate health. It's pretty solid for the passive and active buff.

 

Thinking about going barrow/hoarfrost/monstrosity/mfg, then hulk/quicksilver, hulk/Phoenix, gsbw/Phoenix, or psylocke/Phoenix.

 

Alright I will do it, should I hold off buying it though until I level up some more? Worried if it won't be for sale much longer though

No, he's saying its a defensive weapon . You only use it for the effects.

 

IMO, that is the best weapon that's opened up with everything they've done recently. It truly does devastate defense and evasion. Great in PvE and I'm still contemplating slotting it with the new gear when on offense at least (curious how agent plays it on D). Start with that and whoever is hit by it is infinitely worse off

 

The only drawback I see to hoarfrost is that it somewhat turns ur agent into a tank. I can see that being added with other weapons outside the set that have counter attack....then again Barrow will keep u in the game anyway....hmmmm....so many choices!

 

My goal is to make my agent the tank, since he can't be stunned with that combo, then leaving all the damage to my other 2 heroes.

 

This. Grats, that weapon is amazing, I might use it in pvp. Just a really good weapon.

And thanks everyone for all the input about barrowguard. Still not sure because what is the weapon only good for this pvp? I would be better off using the gold on the pvp hero when it's unlocked for 135cp. Ugh it's so hard to decide! Lol

 

Keep in mind 8.5 is a really good grind for CP (and gold since ur agent will keep ranking up). Just a thought

 

So is 8.5 considered a better grind for CP than 4.4 or 7.3?

 

For me way more so than the others. I started with 58 CP, purchased Beast. And am back up to 75 CP. I also had no gold and now have 20 (so ranked up that much). Have been playing it since PvP ended and already this much. Trying to get enough for Psylock, and if not atleast enough to get Phoenix and WC inf suit

 

Was practicing pvp testing stuff out when I faced a lvl 152 named alpairon at 1915 rating. I didn't think much of it, until after I got rocked by him. He wasn't running anything special, but his armory bonus was insane. My bonuses were 1/3 of his. All of his characters hp were 10k, and I had a higher tactician bonus.

So I got a ruler, and somehow faced him again, and measured the armory bonus so I could try to estimate his armory bonuses. I did some inaccurate math, and his bonuses were 60,000/70,000. Only way this happens is if he has 60 barrow guards, or 3,840 gold. O_0

 

Good thin my level is 170s so i dont have to go against him. Thats just obscene.

 

Are you serious? I don't see how that's possible unless he somehow hacked the game to get gold. Or maybe it's a millionaire, Tony Stark is that you??
