Yes. That's the one. Point is, forget the individual weapons. Don't think of it that way. The whole set each contribute a piece of the whole package that gives you an immunity to stun, no cool down in Roar, a resurrection and of course, the Roar itself. That combo of all four from the set is amazing. Individually, they're not too special. You may have to exit and reopen several times to get him in the first medium fight. Most times I lucked out and got him that first fight. When I got to task 18 I accidentally closed the app and it reloaded with a different enemy layout. Had to abort the mission several times to get Loki to show up. Very annoying.
Haha I'm with u, I've gotta have the mace and monstrosity now. Just got Beast and trying to grind him to atleast 6 and get my ISO up. Once I do, I'm going after monstrosity. Abt an hr out from Odin's cane or staff (whichever one the research nets u) and then I'll just b picking away as daily stuff rolls in and hoping for the 1000 uISO. Just hope it doesn't come the 2nd last day of SO again. No more epic fails on the epic boss at the last second when SO expires again!! Lol
According to JC above, it sounds like simply getting past the first medium threat opens him up...anyone else found a surefire way to complete this task. I'm on deck for that one myself..
You will still get the opportunities to fight him the required number of times if he isn't in that first fight considering he shows up 2x in some of the medium threats. I did the reload thing to get Loki in the first medium threat anyway. I think having him load in the first fight is key to getting through the next several tasks for minimum u-iso as you can hit most of the tasks in one run of Mission 3.
Alright, this is complicated... So I played through Mission 3 for Task 17. I played only the red level threats to get to the miniboss quickest and complete Task 17. This opened up Task 18. I still had 4 illusion Lokis on the map to fight from all the fights I skipped, so I did all them, finished the boss fight and was done. 1 star and 99% of the way to 2. I started Mission 3 again and got the last Loki right after the medium fight and finished Task 18. Now I'm waiting on my gift so I can complete Task 19, at which point I'll finish through Mission 3 again to get Task 20 completed (beat all four Wrecking Crew members) and make sure I'm 3-star on Mission 3 to satisfy Task 24 in advance. (yes, I know I can get the Wrecking Crew beaten on a regular mission, but I've got to play this again all the way to 3-star it anyway, so this will still be efficient.)
You don't have to three star every mission, there is a glitch just make sure you three star a mission just as that mission appears it will count as three starring all three. I lucked out and only had one three star other two were two starred.
Oh really... interesting. Well, I've got to finish Mission 3 for Loki (Task 23!) anyway, so not stopping now!
By getting Loki in that first threat I was able to knock out tasks 18--24 in one run. With so much time left I suppose it doesn't really matter. For some reason I was in a rush to get Val and get her leveled. Usually I wrap up SO with like 15 days left. Wish I had known about that 3 star glitch though.
I wonder if Val is going to be big on PVP this time around? I'm planning a Valkyrie / Psylocke team to start things out...
I need to figure out a defensive pvp team, hoping Oden's favor can provide a little help if I can get her leveled.
Val's skill set doesn't seem to gel with many of the currently available heroes. Psylocke could be very interesting (especially patched). I like Valkyrie with Storm at the moment. She capitalizes on a lot of Val's skills and buffs.
Anybody else getting crash issues? I've been grinding 8.5 and every time im on the epic boss, hood will go to disappear for another round (if he still has health left) and then the game closes. Running on 5s now and it's been buttery smooth except this hiccup...
I got this constantly. My guess is having a hero that can counter attack causes this crash, I think. Maybe! I removed Cap from my team and never got the error again. Umm. Yeah.
