One of the reasons I decided to hang it up. I don't have any weapons viable for PVP with the way they adjusted it to any previous weapons being retroactively locked to the level you received them, making all my other weapons useless. What you describe is my exact setup/ problem. I was running a team of Hercules and Quicksilver and it really just devolved every encounter to the exact same playout, and left everyone this season with the same strategy and weapon load out. That coupled with the fact that 90% of my defensive encounters seem to be against players 4, 5 and 6 levels higher than me every single defense. That coupled with nearly every defensive loss being about 20 points yet almost every single offensive win gaining me roughly half that just took this game from being fun, tough and competitive to being a veritable constant uphill battle. I had a couple of days where I'd come back to 15 defensive losses over the course of going to sleep and waking up (roughly six hours for me), working those wins back only to come back several hours later that same day set back with the same amount of losses again two, three and sometimes four times over the course of a single day.
Yeah, I feel u Bool. I couldn't play today and just came back to a whopping -67. First (and only offensive) battle I attempted today was against a team with Herc and Punisher and they had the first 3 turns. By the time I could actually attack, my Herc was dead, GSBW was reduced to 60% melee, the other team had mirror image, and then I go stunned all around...feels pointless when bad odds like that happen. I've officially given up on this season. I'll get to gold league but not even gonna stress about diamond or above as it's mathematically impossible for me to break in. Sounds like some good stuff is yet to come so I'll stick around a little longer to see how things play out. Alot of peeps on forums r hating this PvP season too. Again I think they threw this SO one out there cuz of Halloween, but on FB there were 3 SO's that preceeded it. Not sure what kind of difference to balancing that could've made but I would assume the results would've been better than the mess that's been created.
Beware the pvp is stalling a bit. Lost 13 pts because it never loaded. Then after a win it never loaded to the win screen. This could just be im not on any wifi right now.
If u have mfg i would use it. Other then that i would say if you have some thing that is a quick action use that too. I wouldnt have more then 2 attack weapons because the ai sux normally. If you have a quantum jumper also that may help you too.
Not using HS+SP? Going for offense, prob go SS+PF. Should still do decent dmg and by decent I mean 50% of enemy's hp in 1 shot.
There is some sorta glitch with Gift of Battle and Quantum Jumper. This has happened to 2x already. My agent is after herc. Their agent does a QJ... Herc does gifr battle... Then his turn comes and attks. Its my turn and i just pass so jot to be hit by herc.... Loop around he attakcs then my next turn... He still has Gift of Battle... Then his next turn he does gift of battle again! Something is messed up.
Update is out!! We can sell items!! Also it says it has optimization for the new holiday themed content and improvements for older devices, animations and gamecenter
Ok got the update and selling is great.... But i know some people are going to be ticked there is no "sell all" button. Well.... Wait and maybe there will be one. I just happy i can unload some the crap items i have.
Yeah pressing the arrow a billion times is kind of tedious but at this point I don't care glad to get rid of this junk.
I've already crashed during a Quicksilver / Ghost Rider PVP match (I have iOS 7 on a 4S), so I'd say the improvements and bug fixes... yeah. No.
I have got to say this new update made the pvp worse. It's choppy and unresponsive and will crash. I played on my mini and it crashed agter 3 battles. I know my ipad sux so i tried my iphone 5. With that i can battle all day and not really worry. First battle... Choppy slow and delayed. I didnt even bother with a 2nd one. Dis they even think this through? 2 days before pvp ends and they send an update that majes the experience worse??? Idiotic. I wonder if they bothered testing this at all.
Just like last seasons, they always did stuff right at the last days of PvP. Like the phoenix quick action change, the season 1 PvP weapon change, etc
Is the update available on ipad as well ? Cause I don't see one on my update screen. Also if u can sell stuff do u get anything other than silver ? Like gold for stuff that costs gold ?
