You don't need GR for mission 2 with epic boss. I use Dr. Strange & Iron Fist for mission 2 (Dormammu)
Actually I realized I'm running mission 3. Since I have so much ISO I'll prob just go back to 2 since that's the epic anyway. My dilemma is GR is training to 10 so I won't b able to use him until morning. I think he's needed for the final boss so I'll have to wait. If not even better. Just my luck I put GR into training this morn and then I hit the daily for all the ISO and now can't complete missions cuz of training....and it's over tomorrow! Lol....boo! Haha
My defense is only winning 10-20% of the time. and 20% is high for me, or anyone. It's just tough this season to win on D.

Keep working on your hero bonuses and you'll go up the ranks. Try Cap instead of colossus. Cap has a higher dmg output than colossus since he counters. Florhackson says he wins 10-20% of his D and I got roughly the same D wins as well. That's like 1 in 10, so what you're experiencing is pretty normal Lolz. Tried the puzzle game, that game is even more of a chore and it's way harder to keep your rating in the pvp tournaments to get the prizes. Btw lv the hell out of ironman, he's pretty imba for a common character there
Yeah my hero bonuses are pretty good worked on them a lot during this spec ops. I will keep trying, I tried cap but found he was worse then my P5 Colossus I don't know it's frustrating I will just wait till the last couple days then attack like crazy. As for puzzle quest they updated it and it's a lot better like you I didn't like it but now it's a ton better. It's a lot easier to train heroes and I've earned a lot of two and three star heroes. You should give it a try again just to see how it's changed.
I'm with ya. This season of pvp is more of a chore/grind than the previous seasons. If you can't get stuns before the agent you're toast. Fighting just to stay above gold at this point.
Black panther rapes mephisto. I use that chronic something item that gives him 2 turns right away and then i bleed him. Also stack him with stamina.
I think my Herc/Cap team has run it's course. Really seem to have hit a wall. Any suggestions for a more effective PVP combo. Hero bonus and armory are pretty good just can't seem to get much traction with them anymore. Considering WC Phoenix and Ghost Rider. Encountered that team a couple of days ago and they simply refused to die.
Try herc/wc Phoenix. That's the team I wanted to run but I got no cp anymore cuz I bought beast and kitty for the upcoming SO.
Level 9 Beast will improve almost any team for pvp..cut my fights in half so far this season(200 or so vs 400+) and sit comfortably around 7%..waiting for last day madness..
Now that I switched my team back to phoenix and colossus I'm 50% on defense. It's amazing what a difference the right hero combination is.
Good looking out Doom and icemilktea. Now I'm in a quandary about continuing to save for Beast or grab Phoenix's WC alt. Is the infiltrator version a better investment over WC Blaster?
I bought the infil one but kinda wished i had gotten the blaster one because there are a lot of bruisers out there right now. Then again, trends change~~~ As for beast vs phoenix, that's up to you. The next SO will not come for at least a week or 2 after the current one finishes so you might be able to farm a bit more before it's here. and the pre-req heroes to summon the epic boss are wolv, storm, kitty, and beast. If you don't have all of em, you can just skip the epic boss for 25g to get the SO hero. If you do get WC phoenix, will she make a big difference in your PvP rank? Although she is arguably one of the best heroes in the game atm because all her skills work and her AI is pretty decent.
I have all of the needed heroes for the next SO with the exception of Beast so I may just hope for best with regards to farming. Not sure of the impact WC Phoenix will have. I never check my win/loss ratios. I just check to see how depressing the minus number will be when loading up PVP. based on how other defenses with her have been tough, hopefully she'll get me some much needed defensive balance. Side question: Does having multiple outfits for the same charater's class boost hero bonus for that class or is it a wash? Forgot to see what it was before purchasing.
Whatever costume your hero is currently wearing will be the one that will add to the bonus. For example if your phoenix is a blaster then she will count as a blaster, but if you change her as a tact, then she will count as a tact, and not as a blaster anymore.
Have Phoenix alt suit..IMO beast can crush that silly death rebirth thing..add another offensive hero that builds anger..focus etc..beast 3rd skill makes that skill stronger..but can be hit by scroll..the attack order makes a diff..have fun all
I'm having fits trying to get Doombringer. I had been on a good run since MFG with Epic drops but not with Doombringer.
