I'm really disappointed in Beast. The cooldowns really neuter his defense moves. Has anybody found a good set up for him?
I like him along with someone like Cap who can absorb the hits while Beast launches his counter moves. The key to Beast is to never attack, right? Just let him sit in the back and buff people. But yeah, I currently can't do much with him in PVP. He's effective on attack but I've not seen anything good on defense.
I think I'm giving up trying to do well on PVP once again. Waking up in Gold is depressing, especially after performing so well the night before.
Could be worse. After getting cap and attacking a lot I managed vibranium. Woke up and I was in silver.
Yeah... I was in Adamantium for a hot minute in the first three days, and that was great. I lasted a few hours there. It is now a struggle to stay in Diamond, honestly. Oh look, the game crashed a few minutes ago, causing me to lose the match and putting me back to Gold. Yaaaaay. I'm at 225 attacks, rating is 927. I just don't get it.
Just for comparison, I'm at the cutoff fluctuating around 0.5% and i'm at 500ish atks, loosing anywhere between 40-80 points in-between plays. Lv 130.
His buffs don't even seem that great though "war and Peace" only seems to be countering for one attack (despite the description showing 2 rounds). Grapes of Wrath" gives the whole team counter attack, but it only lasts 1 round, the random buffs can be nice but you can't count on them. I usually throw up Grapes first round and War second and then on third they are both on cool-down. I don't have him up to lvl 9 yet, so I can't comment on Farewell to Arms yet, seems like a pretty good move against Cap or Colossus.
I think War and Peace will stay active for 2 rounds but only counter one, not counter attacks for two rounds. But yeah, Grapes first, then War and Peace... Either way, meh. I'm leveling for the hero bonus. He isn't right for this season of PVP, where if you don't take out 2/3 health and stun everyone on the first turn, you lose.
I was at 0.37% Sunday night, but currently at 1.00% due to AFK attacks overnight & during the day. I can't fight back till I get home from work at night. Sorry for the attacks the last few days icemilktea.
Sitting at 1900ish and at .29 I am betting the ada cutoff by next week will be 1950-2000 =/ They need to implement a certain score to be the ada cutoff. I think they already do that in the fb version.
131 attacks 1388 rating 2.13% Still 8 days left. Should bring us to friday day/night next week Its allot of time. Ups and downs. I just suggest get to vib league and then just keep it in there. I woke up today and was in diamond again lost 131 points 5-6 attacks. Then did 9 attks (loss 2 to defend while attacking) and got back up. I will say it again. There is no perfect defense and you are always going to lose allot. At least there is no more revenge. The AD reward is very doable this pvp. Just the last 3 hrs will be a grind.
Hey gang up to lvl 8 now. I have 2 new questions. The sites you all recommended say to do both season 1 and season 2. I can't seem to find season 2. Am I too low level? I notice the spec ops thing only has 2 days remaining. Should I be doing that at my level or just stay doing my chapter 1 stuff? Thanks, Raz... P.S. Feel free to add Raztog in game or on GC.
I'm doing so bad I'm in gold league.... I just haven't played much thats why only do my five battles a day. But its ridiculous that I never can win on defense. I was using beast for a while but now I switched back to phoenix and colossus. I'm kinda getting bored of this game it's too much of a chore. I've been playing the marvel puzzle quest game and I'm having more fun with that.
Out of curiosity, for those of you that earned "Grief", about how many Epic run throughs did it take for you to get Frozen Hell? P.S. Scinister Scepter and Mind Link are a pretty filthy combo, thank god the AI doesn't know how to use it.
Go figure I get 1000 iUSO from the daily spin Lol. 1 day lft of SO.....Worst part is GR is really who I need becuz I'm gonna play mission 2 (5starred mission 1 just to get the CP) but I've got him training to lvl 10 so I'll have to put another team together. I suppose I'll shoot for grief...and I'm sure I'll b cursing this game by morn Any suggestions on who to run against Mephisto is kindly appreciated. I'll prob just run my tac agent, GSBW, and Herc (who I've kept pretty much even on D with in PvP).
