Currently, you need (um ... math ...) 931 CP to aquire every character available. Which seems like a lot, but if you started about a month ago and treated "Tapjoy Farming" as the sub-game that it is, you've probably be able to aquire over 300 Gold at this point just from free apps and the automatic +1 Gold you can earn every twelve hours. I do miss the "CP Bonanza" that Viper was during the first week or so, though. Got nearly a hundred CP that way before they nerfed her, and I've never seen even ONE +5 from her since.
I can't for the life of me figure out how to request gift from my allies! I've done it before but I don't remember how to get there anyone tell me?
I made it into the adamantium league! It was short lived though. The next match I won it threw me back down to vibranium...
I know if you try and do Training and don't have enough S.H.I.E.L.D. Points for it, you can request gifts that way. (I imagine you can do something similar if you run out of Energy or PvP attempts and have no supplies to use.) It's only useful if you don't have enough allies to keep you supplied with the gift type you need, as it won't let you go beyond the usual 50 Gifts/Day that can be used.
It's very possible you may still BE in Adamantium, as it's not very accurate what league it's telling you you're in. I was Rank #9 briefly and it dropped me down to Vibranium again at that point.
Yeah. You're right. It put me back in Adamantium. Plus, I've made some good gains today. I'm currently sitting at #86 on the rankings. I could have a bad night though if all the people I've made gains on today decide to take revenge. It could be bad... I fought a lot of decent teams today. I'm a little worried about there being 9 days left. I've had to put a good amount of time in just to keep the position I have. Once I go back to work tomorrow I might be dropping in the standings...
Yeah, make sure you're going over to the Tapjoy website, and not just using the Tapjoy options available within the game. There are a lot more free apps options available on the website. I spent four days this past week downloading a bajillion (okay, maybe 100) awful free apps, booting them up, then getting the 1 gold rewards. Actually, I'm going through some right now. The BrassMonkey one was sort of cool, but it required both an iOS device and a computer. I'm also older than some people on here, so I will often sign up for the free trial stuff (credit card required) and then cancel after a couple of days.... Goodness, I'm wasting my life.
I was wondering what setup you guys are using for defense? I've been using my main attack team as my default defense team, but I was kind of thinking it may not be the best for defense. I'm using Tac Agent with MFG and Digital Decoy, Bruiser World War Hulk and Tac WWII Cap. My attacks are always pretty easy but that's because I know what I'm doing. I fought a team the other day with WWII Cap and Infiltrator Spidey and it was actually pretty tough. I was thinking I might switch to this on defense. Any thoughts? Plus, now that I've been seeing a ton of Torch I kind of wish I bought scrapper Hulk instead of bruiser... That might be my other problem.

That's my exact team and I've been doing great with it so far. I obliterate everyone with ease. And I'm not putting a ton of effort into PVP but I'm in the Adimantium League. I get beaten every now and then but I've accepted that the AI will ruin my score. Otherwise, we'd all be in the top 3% at least, right? The bad AI is a function that makes you need to keep playing even after reaching a high league because your score will be degraded bit by bit each day. So whatever.
Yeah... I was at 1404 last night before I went to bed... I get up this morning and I have 5 loses. All about 25 points a piece... It hurts... It still shows me in the Adamantium league for now though. I hate defense. It's killing me... I don't understand how I can go 130 attacks and be practically undefeated, 1 legit loss, and then with the same exact team and gear the AI loses that bad against pretty sorry teams.
One thing everyone should consider is an attack team and a defense team. I'm way too lazy to do so, but if you're serious about ranking really high, you'll find the AI plays better with some characters (Captain America) than others. Watching trends while you're attacking will also help you determine which class to use for defense. For example, I'm still in low levels on iOS, so I don't have the Shield throw attack with Cap yet. As people have been saying, a lot of people are using Human Torch, who is a pain without distance attacks. So I have Cyclops on defense to whip him. You get the idea.
I've been thinking about going with WWII Cap and Johnny Storm (I've got both past level 9) for all those defense perks. Cap regularly beats the entire opposing team without me ever getting a true attack in while I'm grinding older levels for 5 Stars. I just start the fight and watch him counter attack everything. I've given him every high-level Dodge and Defense gem I can, so he rarely gets hit and even then he defends wonderfully.
These super hero games have always had very heavy and often expensive IAPs that become more apparent after playing for so long. How is the IAP structure once having delved further in the game? I've seen several comments about downloading numerous apps for credits, but that sounds pretty tedious.

This is my day from last night until now. I'm never going to maintain adamantium league at this rate. I really need to do something on my defense. This is bad...
I'm defending with TAC WWII Cap and SCR WW Hulk, attacking with SCR WW Hulk and TAC Original Black Widow. Still dropping below vibranium league every night. Probably doesn't pay to try to rank higher until the last day...
Yeah I've learned not to attack anyone lower than my rating, since it basically gives them a revenge to cost me -20. At this rate I'll be happy with diamond rank, especially with the way my rating drops while on defense.
yeah I keep losing my vibranium status overnight too. kind of stinks but I built up a bit today to try and compensate.
It's a great system I haven't spent a dime and have unlocked quite a few characters probably 50% and there is a ton to do. Just level up your jets fast so you can gain coins fast and you earn gold for leveling up and getting 4 stars. CP used to buy heroes can be bought with the gold and earned through daily bonus spins, boss spins, and pvp daily spins. Plus you earn some by getting 5 stars on missions. I did use tap joy and its not tedious at all takes like 10 mins and its easy and free so it doesn't hurt.
