If you don't have Grief or any of the other new weapons, Phoenix Pinion is a good second attack. A large group attack weapon like Grief or Phoenix Flare would be better for you though.
I don't know what a Torch / Wolverine team could do that would be worthwhile in this season. Aside from the regenerating health, neither offer much against the common weapons / heroes / agents people are using. My Captain America can typically take out a Torch in about one turn and Wolverine is not effective for PVP at all. You'd have better luck switching them out for more traditional heroes. Get rid of Wolverine and use a protection / counter-attack hero like Captain America's WW2 costume, Hercules, Phoenix, Black Widow, Invisible Woman.
Yeah, Torch will usually get taken down fast because most people are running gear that will pick away at his health, or you'll run across enough squads with a tac or two and you're blaster becomes null and void. Wolvie will b good, but I don't think they've fixed his brown suit yet, so he's still pretty weak. Keep in minds lot of peeps are using Scroll of Angolob; which would stop burn and bleed from your heroes. Ww2 cap (tac or bruiser) is alway a solid choice. Grey suit black widow tactician is also pretty lethal. Together, they're very formidable (and annoying) and may help u with defense. Herc and colossus can also be good. Also keep in mind your hero and armory bonus will make a huge difference. If you're up against guys with higher bonuses, having lvl 12 heroes will still b a tough fight. Hope that helps
The higher I get the more tact phoenix/bruiser agent/blaster torch teams i run into. It works surprisingly well.
Does anyone understand the MATH behind the Hero Bonus / Armory Bonus for PVP? I'm level 136. I've got armory bonus at 26,000 attack and 22,000 defense. What does that do, mathematically? Looking at the hero bonus, I have (for example) +104 attack from my Blaster - that's level 10, 9, 7, 9 and 9. And I've got +124 defense from the Bruiser - lvl 10, 9, 12, 6 and 6. So how does this work? Why do people say the hero bonus, which gives me +124 defense, is better than the armory bonus, which gives +22,000 defense? Is there something basic and fundamental I'm missing about this? How do these numbers actually work in a match?
I know in the FB version, the armory gives additional to all stats except for HP and Stamina (It could, give it to those 2, I am unsure) But I honestly know very little from having a high armory is good.
Just faced someone using it, they were using Magik and phoenix. I just kept stunning their agent with HS and phoenix and beat him before he could use any other weapon. He used binding contract which almost took my phoenix out through the match but was easy to defeat.
So I am betting we get beast this thursday. Been guessing these right lately, and it fits the schedule.
I think the heros to use with binding contract would be black panther, black cat, and wolverine. All that would help with bleeding. Never used black cat and wolverine i seen to many times suck in pvp. Black panther would be the only one.
I would think by the next PvP or the one after, Wolvie's brown costume (at least) will be fixed. I know he's praised on FB now, so it should just be a matter of time. But yeah, def need someone with bleed, and I agree that BP might b it. BC is ok, but doesn't really do good damage until her 3rd ability (unlucky) is ready, ans that's 2nd round at best. The way this season is going this far, not a good outlook.. @Flor: what ever happened to Mockingbird? I don't recall if she was a PvP or SO reward, or just an addition but a lot of people thought she was nxt to be released...
Just started PvP this morn (was waiting on 2 heros I needed to beef up for the bonus. Running lvl 135 scrap gent (power armor), GSBW tac and ww2 tac cap both at lvl 12. So far I'm 3-3 on defense...strangely, batting .500 is ok with me. I really wasn't sure if the team would hold or not. I'm guessing the losses are when the AI plays my agent wrong. Running sign, HS, scroll and soul finder (I'll never get grief....way too much time and I don't have 3 of the heros for deploys anyway, and it looks like Fury might not release ever??...for 68 gold, I'm saying heck no anyway). On another note, I can't win gold or CP to save my life...
Your setup sounds good. I couldn't win gold or cp last season. Been extremely lucky this season. It would not surprise me if it cycles, and we both get the opposite of what we had.
Im just goingb to hokd onto it since the pvp not that great. Maybe when the other heros come out it will be better. Was thinking also of that dagger i have to leech but would be a waste of 2 spots Now im trying to get that psych fist. Idk if they are good just want them.
Holy mother... Lost 197 rating last night. Looks like I need to change things up... I've never lost that much in one shot. I'm thinking that I need to take out the scroll for afk... it may be the AI messing things up for me. Also getting matched against people 16 levels higher than me isn't helping much either.
I just did hit the claim all gifts button and it looked like it was successful but my ISO and shield points are not being updated. I can't claim anymore gifts and the ones I did claim are no longer on the list. Anyone else had this problem?

That's a new one....have u tried rebooting ur device after force closing the app? Sometimes there's a delay with the sync...force closing the app has become #1 priority for a lot of us when anything goes wonky in the game.
