2 cheap heroes that are good for pvp are Colossus and Black widow. Quicksilver at 48 cp, is also good, but you need to stack your atk bonuses for him to be effective.

Sinister sceptre is good if your agent is plays support over damage. Like MFG, Momentum Generator, curative reach. There are other items that are better if your agent is made for damage output, but it's not a bad item at all for damage. With the bane it puts on people, it also comes down to heroes you use.
I just got a pop-up announcement that PvP season 4 is starting. And yup, it's Deadpool (who I've heard is not all that good as one of his moves can nerf the opposing team or YOURS). Either way, the game is crashing so much more now (not even 1 battle without a crash now) that I don't even care to play. Can't grind for levels, can't do $#!+ .......didn't even have that much time this go around between seasons, an the update amazingly made things WORSE. Feels like when a salesman forces your time to sell u something u really don't want....right now, really don't want another PvP...maybe if we're lucky one of the devs will look and see our comments....oh wait, it's Marvel Ent....never mind
Well the pvp are like a month long so maybe they can fix it for you. I might start it this weekend. Doesnt really matter when you start as long as you get 100 battles. Anyways have you tried restoring your device? I just got Deadpool in FB He is ok. Just funny lol. I really want to get Union jack. He counters allot of attacks.
How come i cant fight in pvp battle? It says that no one issuing challenge And when i do practice battle, my weapons become the same level as my opponent's agent level And my rating hasnt changed to 800, still from the last pvp Haaah.... Please help
So with the update you can play across multiple devices thanks to Game Center. I've got the game loaded up on my iPad now, and it runs perfectly. No crashes or slowdowns at all. I just beat all three bosses in the third Spec Ops mission at once without an issue. Finally, FINALLY, the spec ops missions are playable again and I can get that finished.
It usually does that for me for the first hour or two of the PVP seasons. I think the matchmaking system needs a certain amount of people to log in or click the PVP button before it starts setting up games...

No clue on weapons. It IS best to assume that stuff is broken. We are talking about Avengers Alliance here. It isn't so much a game about doing the best with the best stuff you've built up. The real game is figuring out how to wiggle around the bugs, crashes, game errors and incorrect stats to still do a decent job.
Just had a PVP fight. I was destroyed by a Quicksilver / Captain America team just now. The other agent and I had the same weapon setup (Signpost, Scroll, Hotshot and Magnetic Field Generator). Quicksilver started with his basic attack then hit Vortex Lariat, stunning my whole group. Enemy agent used the Scroll, followed by Signpost and then Hotshot. His Cap used shield toss. All my guys skipped a turn. His Quicksilver used his basic attack twice and it was over. So I think I'm switching to a Quicksilver / Cap team UPDATE: My Captain America / Quicksilver team was just shamefully obliterated by a Thor / Hercules team. I haven't won an attack yet. Has anyone thought of good combinations for this season?
Currently running a torch/war machine team while I try to get around the crashes and level quicksilver . Won 1 crashed twice. I heard deadpool is really bad in this game. Is it true? Also are you meant to play his moves in order (lv1,lv2,lv6,lv9)?? Really want the blaster armor reward.... One last thing : if I started attacking on Nov 1st when I get my iPad (less crashes) would I be at a significant disadvantage?
