Hate how they do the pricing for their games, it's almost deceitful since you'd assume the more you spend the bigger bonus you get... but no, the 240 gold pack is the best value, if the 500 pack had the same money to gold conversion you'd be getting 508 gold instead, since here in Australia 240 costs $51.99 and 500 costs $109.99.
I think you will get the hotshot, don't worry about respinning for that. And I only got the captain America gun from the last spec ops, and wasted a lot of spins for other items, so I know your pain.
A lot of us here just use Tapjoy and download games for gold or complete offers for gold. Usually there's a "return to Tapjoy" u can get twice a day (although it's been down for a few days). So may not need to spend much more money to get up to speed on the game. Plus 1 gold = 2 CP to use towards characters (and CP is the only currency u can use to purchase heroes).
That's what I mean. Two 240 gold packs obviously leaves you 20 shy of 500, so it would seem like a saving. But if you add up how much your actually getting per dollar, you've spent more for less. Unless in the US 240 is $50 on the dot and 500 is $100, then yeah, but here with the prices being $51.99 and $109.99.
Yup, bought the hulu pack and 5 dollars worth. 13 for a month of hulu and this game seems more than reasonable.
I spent $20 total but it was all gift card money that I won from twitter or here so it's practically free anyway. I don't regret it,playdom does deserve some money there is a lot of content released.
Watched my Braves win, and got the momentum generator on my first try. Got the sinister sceptre on my first try as well yesterday. Getting pretty lucky lately. Now I can build a quicksilver pvp team if I want to.
Got 1000 ISO and sinister scepter today with respins though spent maybe 30 gold but I did win some CP in the process and the 1000 ISO is great. Tried to get frozen hell respun twice but figured I could try again with all that ISO.

Idk if anyone else has experienced this but 2 times i have been hit after using the Scepter. One time was by Iron Clad... Looked like he was going to hit another teammate but then BAM hit me instead and i died. 2nd time was a scrapper missed me because the phased but then his follow up attk hit me because i had an inf suit. Weird glitch. Used it allot but so far that happened.
