Good question. The official forum actually had people able to see PvP briefly today (in error, given the length of the duration of the event shown), so I'm not sure if they'll re-release Chapter 5 this week, try to begin the first tourney in PvP or just say "eh, it's a holiday weekend" and sit and do nothing. And when you get 4 stars on missions if I remember right. Then 5 CP for 5 stars. Can't believe I've already amassed 5 of the 6 Avengers from the film!
PVP is working for me. EDIT: spoke too soon. You can access the menu and start setting things up but can't get a real fight. Just practice matches.
Yeah. PVP works for me too. No ranked matches yet though. I played a practice match with somebody that was pretty fun. I hope all of the extra battles I've been receiving from the daily spin are being saved somewhere because I've landed on a lot of those.
I'm playing around with stuff in PVP and I came across the Armory. To anyone that's played the FB version, once you add an item to a slot can you replace it with something else later? I put a couple things in there but it doesn't appear that I can swap those items out with something else. Are those slots pemanent?
Hey Andy, just wondering if you've noticed whether the Chapter Mastery weapons are being given out on ios? Apparently on Facebook 5-starring a whole chapter gets you a "golden" weapon that levels up with you.
There might be a chance at getting a golden weapon that levels and I've just not been lucky enough yet. It is not automatic though. Unless that's if you 5-star a premium? I'm close to getting 5-star on the Hulk premium so maybe I'll jump on that to find out.
According to Playdom's frequently asked questions page you do not get the golden weapon after beating all missions to 5 stars on a chapter. "10. Why didn't I receive my Chapter Golden Weapon? Unlike the Facebook version, the mobile version does not reward Chapter Golden Weapons for getting 5 star mastery. We do not have the information on whether the feature will be added or when it will be added at this time. "
From the main forum: Hi all, PvP is coming "soon." But because all app versions have to go through the apple approval process, we don't have an estimated time on when pvp would be out. But the image posted on the first page was a place holder that went out for a very short time. You should not see that anymore. And it is not what the rewards will be for pvp.
How do I request gifts FROM people? I get requests from people all of the time, but I don't have a tab to tap in order to do the actual requesting.
I've been wondering about this as well. I'm guessing it's generated automatically.... I have no idea... By the way, when are they going to release new chapters or pvp? I don't know about anyone else but I'm getting a little bored of what's available at this point. So far this is only part of a game. There is still a lot of content missing.
When you try to spend points to level up a guy and you don't have enough, there's a button for "ask a friend" for some. They just make it a secondary way to ask for those, I guess for people who only have a few friends or who have friends who stupidly send them energy or health packs instead of something useful. I'm pretty sure you can't get any more through this method than your daily max of 50 gifts, although I've not tried... I will try that now and report back!
Yeah, all that's going to do is add to your overall "stash" of gifts - so if you only have a few friends and don't always have 350 gifts in your inventory (50 on-screen, 300 more to appear to replace them when you accept/reject gifts) you can use it to increase your reserves. This won't allow you to go beyond the limits of the number of gifts you can accept each day - your maximum free S.H.I.E.L.D. Points is still capped at 62 in a 24-hour period (50 through Gifts, 12 through Collect Rewards).
PVP is active! Just took down my first opponent. Worldbreaker Hulk and WW2 Cap are really great together.
Well, I'm murdering the PVP ranks so far. Never lost a match and never had one of my team knocked out. I'm top 3% right now. Big error though, be warned. You have energy for these matches, right? Up to a max of 5. If you search for a match but don't find one it will STILL eat one of your energy. So. Happened to me three times already. Very annoying.
Yep just tried it too. Barley won. My guys not to leveled up. Idk why it says it has to search for some one. The AI does the battle for the other user. I lost 3 energy before my first match. Hope they fix this.
I strongly dislike the job my AI does for me when I'm attacked. I do not accept the defeat I was handed by my AI. I 'took revenge' and beat the guy's team without a single of mine even taking a hit. I strongly disagree with the ability for my team to be beaten by a Sif and a Spider-Man, lol.
. I would agree because the match I had the. AI could have easily beaten me however Thor kept doing a strength buff when I was down to my last guy.
If it's the same as it was when I was playing on Facebook, AI uses very set moves and strategies. You learn to read them pretty quick. So PvP is often about who plays the most, because you can't count on the AI holding your rank for you.
