I loved the series, but I'm afraid that this won't live up to the original.

Me too, but at the same time I would like to go back to the avatar universe. I really loved the original show.

Loved the series and I definitely look forward to seeing how this pans out. I'm a little sceptic though because Aang(and the rest of the cast for that matter) was the perfect Avatar and made the show a very solid series. Very comical...

    I got goosebumps.

I remember years ago, when I was just chilling in my room, and wondered what was on tv (It was the night Avatar: TLA debuted). I said to myself " I guess I'll just watch this since there's nothing on". And WoW! After I watched it, I knew that this was show that I wanted to watch.

    Still miss it. :(

I didnt watch too much of Avatar the series but I did like what I saw; in terms of production quality and animation it was def. good.

I saw this one episode where Aang meets with his friend that crazy old guy that makes him go through a bunch of challenges, forgot his name... but it was like 100 years later or something after they first met and that old guy was still alive. Am I mistaken? Seems like in that world people can live over 100.

Aside from that, the new main character is being taught by Aang's son meaning Aang got it on with SOMEONE... so what does their being dead now have to do with whether Aang got it on with Katara or not?

I too can't wait for the series to start up again. But I don't know about the whole modernized industrial city look to the series. I liked how the previous series was basically filled with nature/villages.

I'm more excited about The Promise being released near the end of January. It's only a little more than a month away but it will be awesomely epic. And we will finally see what happens to Zuko's mom. I wish they had continued where they left off with the animated series but this seems like the next best thing.

Apparently the first episode leaked online but I think I'm going to wait until April 14th for it to be officially shown on TV just so I can have something to look forward to.

Yeah, some of my buddies already watched it :/ I was so tempted when someone linked it on Facebook. Very tempted :p I hope the show is as good as the one with Aang and the gang.
