Melee Units Comparison Charts There were some people who wanted to know how the units fared against each other. So, here's a handy chart that we can all refer to. Not reflected in the chart: *Mercenaries gain a further attack bonus if in Closed Order. *Spearmen also deal bonus damage to Mounted Archers. *Sappers take less damage from arrows. *Swordsmen deal bonus damage to structures. *Horsemen deal bonus damage to ranged units but lesser damage to structures.
It says for the update that white screens have been fixed for iPod touch 4th gen (among others) what exactly does this mean because I'm pretty sure iPod touch 4 is not supported??
It's playable on those devices after we fixed the white screens, but just barely. And since we have no control whether refunds are approved or not, we had no choice but to stick to saying that those devices aren't supported rather than risk disappointing poeple who try them. We decided to still patch in this fix because there are a LOT of people buying Warlords despite the warning.
This is amazing news! Couple of questions: 1. Is there any kind of iCloud save feature at the moment? (For example I'm shortly going to be getting an ipad mini, if I start the game on my iPod will I be able to continue where I left off on a new device?) 2. how easy it it to get new officers in the game? and how many can you have in total? (And do additional officers have any story behind them like the default ones do?) EDIT: you'll be pleased to hear that it performs surprisingly well on iPod touch 4th gen!
I have 5 officers not sure about the max I think it's pretty random when get them. Getting a palace helps as it says in its description the chances of a new officer joining is increase. All officers have a backstory
I haven't read the whole thread but can anyone tell me if the number of build sites a province has ever levels up or increases?
The number of build sites a province has stays the same for the whole game. This forces players to capture new provinces to build more buildings
Are the requirements to unlock the next warlords final? Because they seem a bit easy to me, I unlocked them all in a single game (I didn't even have to finish it...) Also is there a bug with the way catapults target? I can't seem to prioritise who they fire at, as dragging to attack just moves them next to a target..
There's a warlord expansion coming near the end of April On their site you can see the new warlords, events, and a new thing call a control point
Looks promising. I've beaten the game a couple of times with the different warlords. Seems like Iron Zhao has what seems to be the only happy ending. Every other warlord I beat the game with seems to have screwed up after forming the Autumn Dynasty. Fastest I've ever beaten the game was in 9 years >_>
Hi again! We're about a third through with completing the Water Margin expansion, and if we don't run into any unforeseen problems in the next 3 weeks or so, we will be able to implement quite a lot of improvements that will make Warlords very different. -Scenerio Mode- First off, we're adding a Scenerio mode to Warlords! Apart from current map where we have all our 9 warlords begin to grow their empire, we will also have campaigns featuring new warlords and officers battling in different maps. There's more than those 3 in the works and we'll do more updates later, but do check out http://warlords.autumndynasty.com/ for their story (Ko Chien is now my favourite warlord). -New events- We're adding a lot more global events and missions and some of these will be linked to the new Relic rewards. These new events will also have a larger impact on gameplay, and your actions can determine their consequences. And of course, we haven't left out battle system: -Control Points- These are points you can command in a battlefield that will give your troops a specific advantage. Taking control over a CP will give any side a decisive advantage, so CPs will change how battles are played. There are some other new changes that we'd be including apart from the 3 above, but we haven't got them fully out, so we'll just give you our project-names for now, and share the details another time: Pre-Battle Crisis Events Banditry Relics Come share any ideas of things you'll like to see in Warlords! We'll strive hard to make Warlords the best that we can.
I love this game! Here are some ideas: maybe more than one city in one province More units you can get during the game And i would like to have a way to move faster the troops, e.g. summarizing the units to some kind of armies And maybe a higher need for the buildings
Hmm I am not sure how that would work since all the fighting is on one land mass and there are no islands
Sorry, we're late as usual, but everything's implemented and we're in the testing phase now to make sure that all the new stuff is working fine. Here's the list of major changes that will be in the expansion: 1. Scenario mode - Ko Chien's scenario - 'Random' scenario - Atarala's scenario (early unlock for AD1 players) 2. Additional Global Events Earthquake, Locust and Exodus have been added, and officers have more missions that they can do that have an effect on global events. For example, officers can Cultivate Lands to improve the chances of a Bountiful Harvest, or sabotage repairs to keep provinces affected by an Earthquake impassable for a longer duration. 3. Control Points These may appear on battlefields and both sides need to decide if it's worth sending troops to take over and protect Control Points for the bonuses they provide. 4. Pre-battle In certain defensive missions, you now get to move your units into place and use your acumen to prepare abilities before the enemy attacks. 5. New warlords and officers Along with Ko Chien and Atarala, 5 new officers will be added in this expansion. Atarala will even appear in the main scenario if conditions are right. 6. More missions There are quite a few more officer missions and events (I'm at a loss to exactly how many since we had been writing them in as we thought of them). 7. More officer traits and decrees More than 30 new officer traits and decrees have been added. 8. Warlord Relics Warlords can now find and gain items that will give them an additional edge.
That all sounds super neat. What's the AD1 tie in all about? I never beat the campaign, is the Atarala scenario going to look for an AD1 save file? Either way, stoked about the random mode, and new content. Drop a line when you submit the update pls, and thanks again.
