I don't know if it's those 2 provinces that are causing it to crash though. It seems something was triggered by my invasion that causes it to crash even if I purposely lose and then end my turn. I'm playing as Toshi and own about 2/3rds of the land pretty late into the game. I don't think the AI likes me laying a beat down on it
I am pretty sure the AI didn't do that, cos I am the culprit for the crash(tho I did wrote the AIs...) Although the patch fixed any new games, and the damaged save files we used for testing, I guess you are probably using a strategy I am not expecting I hope to fix that for you so you could finish conquering the last six provinces. Would you mind if I send you a testflight version, it would let me update you with fixes without having to wait for Apple approval, and it is compatible with your save files. Btw I am Jeffrey who is replying to your emails.
Thanks Sambosung! That screenshot is a great help, i got a good idea of what went off, we never had a chance to store so many units in a province. In the mean time I suspect the crash would go away, if you put less than 48 units in that attacking province.
Ok, I went back to the game, having 106 units attacking a province from 3 fronts did not cause any crashes. Someone notified us about the crash bug on Facebook, but we realised later that his version is 1.0.4 even after his update from the AppStore, please check on the top right hand corner of the the main menu to ensure it is 1.0.5
Now, 100% no, you'll get the white screen people are complaining about. In 1.06 hmmm.... tricky answer. We have to do more internal testing to decide. This is us:
Ok, thanks for the answer! I guess I'll wait for now then.. But I'll be crossing my fingers that you guys can work some magic and make it work in an update
You need to do some domestic espionage, or a lot more other kinds of espionage overall. Corruption very powerful, I'll leave the rest of the exploring to you guys. There are 12 save slots in total, just swipe to the right for more. And I'm hoping the lack of comments here means 1.05 is working or at least doing well on new saves?
I've kept my eye on this game for a while now and I think I'm going to pick it up tonight. The only reason I haven't picked it up is because people are saying that the gameplay is much different than the first (which I really enjoyed and still do to this day). I am a fan of the shorter battles that this sequel brings, but at the same time I am a fan of the RTS style combat that the first has as well because of the great replay value (I do not own Warlords so correct me if I am wrong about it having no replay value). That being said, have the devs mentioned anything about adding in a quickplay gamemode that has the same combat as the first (no timers, real time building/troop management, large battlefields) but revamped? This is all based on reviews/comments that I've read so feel free to inform me if I got something wrong.
It's working for me so far. No crashes, no units outside the map, nothing. I even got a negative society score at one point lol, -20% order gains, and the display was fine. Out of curiosity, is that the max, 20% in either direction?
Yes!! You can't believe how happy and relieved I am to hear this. Every time we released a patch we were dead sure we got all the bugs, but something still manages to bite us from behind. The Sages under Heaven (Monks) right? Nope, 20% isn't the max, and if you get them to patron fast, they are VERY useful.
We are changing the combat quite a bit, and adding in two entirely different elements to the gameplay there, but it is not going to be a standalone quickplay game mode, there will still be no building construction, unit hiring inside the RTS combat. Not in the near future at least. I don't want to give out more on what we're working on now, because I can't promise we can do everything that we are planning (there will likely be just the 1.06 patch before this version 1.1), but it will make a big difference to the game, and as we usually do, the new content will be free.
This is one of the rare apps which has devs who talk to their customers and listen to what they are saying.
Here while trying to conquer Jagged Ice Canyons the game froze when I tried to press continue, it won't go past this screen, and then crashes about 60 seconds later. I'm playing on my iPad 3, with version 1.0.5 I made sure that none of my provinces had more than 45 units in it. I also had just conquered Jade Peaks on the same turn before this with no problems.
I also got around attacking Fulong Caves (as this makes the game crash) by making it turn neutral and then intimidating it to make it my own. I love that option, very cool Kirua!
Turns out you don't have to own every single province in the game to win. Just as long as you are the only colour left you've won. Just before my final campaign on the last province one of my own revolted (owning almost every single province is very hard to manage >_>) and I pushed through and utterly destroyed the enemy and still won
