    Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the wait, we were hiding in our basement planning for world domination :p

Just to give you a sneak peek -
we are working on a new game to give you an opportunity to conquer and dominate the known world in the AD universe.

In March, we are releasing a content patch with a new maps, and bug fixes.
There would be a free lite version(NO in-app purchase) for you to share with your friends. We are also releasing our BlackBerry 10 version. (It is not official yet, but I am working on a way to upgrade our multi-player to allow non IOS to play with IOS gamers.)

We have also just gotten our leapmotion dev kit!

Awesome! But will this "new game" be a campaign expansion to the current app? Or will it really be a completely seperate app set in the same world?

It would a separate app, with a different gameplay, think of empire management and generals :D

Sounds neat. Will there be a story of any sort or will it be like Dune and one of the Dawn of War expansions where there is a campaign map with background for the setting.

conquer the world is more of an open world concept; your actions and decisions will create the story of the campaign :)

it as after all, about managing an empire. We're hoping to make it about a lot of interesting decisions and diplomacy and not just a game of conquest. :)

Great news about the new game....sounds awesome! Let us know if you need beta testers!

Anyway back to this GREAT game....

I wanted to suggest that anyone looking to add players for multiplayer should post a message with their Game Center ID at the bottom of any post in this thread. We can also use the PM function here on TA to communicate and setup times to play or coordinate matches.

My Game Center ID is: (Twenty-One)

Im also looking to add players for any of the games in my sig. vvvvvvvv

    Thanks!

I bought Autumn Dynasty around 11 months ago, but only played it today thanks in part to the Ravenmark thread, as well as completing Eureka in FF3.

I have never been a particularly big fan of RTS - although I did enjoy C&C back in the mid-90s. Autumn Dynasty is simple to understand, possesses excellent production and polish, and has the most beautiful and elegant UI I've seen on iOS. The combination of the setting, high production values and the sheer elegance of the UI - built from the ground-up for touch-screen - make this a pleasure to play.

I've only played the first map on Normal - iniially completing it in 29 minutes - and felt a bit bewildered at first. Towards the end of the map, I begun to see and appreciate different strategies and tactics - especially as my initial attempt was completed through a blood-bath on both sides!

Playing the map again, I completed it in 6 and a half minutes - this time with 0 losses and 2 units built. My strategy worked [carrot on a stick] , and I executed the tactics perfectly.

Not only can you see different approaches though game- play, the game is a joy to play as well.

Indeed! Glad to see this thread still bubbling away. Love the game but haven't had much gaming time of late :(

    Hi everyone!

ItÂ’s been almost exactly a year since we launched the paid version of the game, and we'd really like to thank everyone again for your support! We're putting out another content patch for everyone with new maps, and fixes for the issues that you guys have reported-- we figured out the double building thing (when two forts produce units simultaneously and exceed the unit limit by one) and negative acumen bug, so all those should be good now! :)

We've noticed that not everyone has been able to try the game yet-- some of you have been asking for a way to share the game with your friends. To help with this, we're releasing a free Lite version of the game-- along with a giveaway campaign!

The Lite version is a small sampler of what the full game offers, but we'd really like to encourage everyone to share it. The more downloads we get for the Lite version, the more content and features we promise to add for everyone-- including those who already own the game!

We've drawn up a list of goodies that we'll be able to put out once we hit certain download targets-- you can check it out at http://autumndynasty.com/giveaway -- or maybe you can suggest more stuff you'd like to see too!

At the same time, we've also worked out a price drop with the publisher, so it'll be a good time to grab it during this period if you haven't gotten it yet! :)

To end off, here's a short clip about how to play the game on the iPhone, which you can share with new players to get them up to speed! Since the game is universal, you can play games between different devices-- like iPad vs iPod. I was thinking not everyone owns two iPads, so this might help! :D

Any chance at another sale for this game? Looks really cool, but 6.99 seems pretty expensive

There was a sale at the beginning of this month...

But really - for one of the best RTS games on the platform, it's well worth it and more. It's a PC/console quality game... and the developers are awesome.

Damn, missed it then. I didn't have any funds at the beginning of the month and now I don't enough for a 6.99 game. I never really played RTS games but the lite version is a lot of fun.

    =oP

Apple needs to make it so that people can gift apps with iTunes $$ instead of having to use PayPal or your CC. Or move $$ from one account to another... =oP

Anyway - it does go on sale every couple of months - but if you get the $$ before then, I'd totally get it. It's one of very few games that will NEVER leave my device. =oP

Just picked this up and very happy with my purchase. Only on the second Campaign mission and it's really good. Tons of strategic depth. Love that you can ambush enemies by hiding in the forest or just set the tires on fires. The art style is absolutely gorgeous and controls are perfect

Well, I've purchased it and all I can say is this is the first original game designed for iOS that really satisfy me. It's absolutely the best RTS on the smartphone.

Thanks! We have been fans for RTS and even 4X games for a long time now - it then occurred to us that if was difficult to find a mobile game that could provide us with the satisfaction that games like AoE and CoH did. So, why not create one?

Our game designer has prepared a "war manual" that you could consider checking out if you get stuck of any of the levels (there is a particularly nasty one somewhere in the middle). Alternatively, there are also strategy discussions at our forum :) http://forums.autumndynasty.com/
