Hi Everyone! There are a whole lot of new features coming out in this Dec 13 update, let me share them with you. To start, we have the Blitz Mode - Six brand new maps, units would start with all their special abilities unlocked, and acumen is generated at 3 times normal speed. These maps are designed to focus on close combat, and would typically last about 5 minutes, great for playing while on the go, or with friends. The research system is now simplified - you would automatically gain research points as the game progress, having more outposts would speed up the process. Research points could be used to purchase new doctrines. Best Time Record for Campaign Missions - try to break our records! New Menus - we have upgraded our main menu to a Chinese war painting. If you ever find a need to use your iPad as a picture frame... Universal app - we have designed a new controls scheme and user interface for the small screen, it is available for free to all our iPad players iPhone vs iPad Multiplayer - New challengers are coming, or if you have both iPhone and iPad, just pass one device to your friend iCloud Support Simplified Multiplayer Match Making Reduce memory usage for iPad 1 Increase zoom level and more...
Facebook Answer I logged onto Facebook and couldn't find the answer that Fei of the Iron Sky was to provide to Old Man Gau for the map to the region. Can anyone PM me or post the answer?
Alrighty... ran into an issue - I was playing the stage right after Intermission 5 - and at the end of the stage after the captian says that he'll help bring the food back, and the Freedom From Hunter achievement pops up, the screen froze. I'm attaching the image - there's also the 'Skip' from the dialogue scene still up in the top corner as well... which is pretty strange. But this is the second time this has happened. Exactly the same each time (minus where my units were, and the first time, I don't remember seeing the 'Skip' icon still up in the corner) --Hope it doesn't happen again, I'd hate to be stuck here or have to delete and reinstall...
Gah... alrighty... I closed and started the game back up again, and it let me move on to the next stage even though I didn't get to press continue or anything... soooooo... NEVERMIND ABOUT ALL THAT GETTING STUCKNESS stuff... =oP
We really are living in a gold-tinted age of hyperportable gaming. First Bastion leaps the chasm between iPad and Universal (and Vendetta Online goes from tablet to smartphone), then rumors of an iPhone port of Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, and now the best RTS for iOS (and possibly one of the best RTS titles regardless of platform) completely stomps all over any notions of unportability. Soon, nearly every single genre (and many titles) once said to be unplayable on the small screen exists and plays well on that same small screen, and we can start posting route replies with a staggering amount of accompanying examples to any dev or foolhardy user who dares attack any queries for iPhone ports with claims of small screen limitations Total War Battles: iShogun, while a VERY good game, is really more of an RTS simplified, with lane-based advancement and light resource management, and some nice touches of puzzle-based building placement. In contrast, Autumn Dynasty is a full-fledged RTS (even though building placement is limited), with the trappings of the genre, online multiplayer, surprisingly deep combat mechanics (even when compared to desktop RTS:es, more akin to the real-time tactics genre, and games like the Myth series and Company of Heroes), and a few nice touches of its own. Go for both, I'd say
