Confirmed. Bought. Awesome. Thanks for the heads-up, Chris! What other plugs are recommended?! (Electronic only.)

Not sure what you mean by electronic only. In the Auria store? I'd get the essentials for mixing and mastering first. Those would be ProQ (do NOT miss ProQ at this price) for proper EQing. Pro-c for compressor. Aurias built in brick wall limiter does a good job if you don't want pro-l. MicroWarmer isn't an essential plug for mixing etc, but it really is one of those plugs that will spice tracks and mixes up, so don't miss out on that one.

Other then those I'd get Timeless 2 and Saturn. Those two plugs are soo much more then just a delay and saturation/dist plug. Thanks to FabFilters endless modulation building inside those plugs. Volcano is a great filter unit with 4 independent filters, and it also has the same modulation window, but at the end of the day it is a filter unit and not as versatile sound wise as the others (as filters in its nature removes harmonics/frequencies rather then adding). I just use Micro for any filter needs. ProG gate/expander is awesome with the side changing, it got ducking and upwards expansion etc. So if you want pumping baselines etc via sidechaining, ProG will definitely help you there.

So essential must haves for mixing:

    ProQ (!!)
    ProC
ProL (if you find Aurias built in limiters lacking)

Not essential, but very helpful (and just amazing tape/saturation/dynamics unit to spice up individual tracks or a whole mix):

    Microwarmer

    Essential various effects:

    Timeless2
    Saturn

    ------

I mean, all effects in Auria that you can purchase via IAP are studio class. So you can't go wrong with anyone. The ones I listed as various effects are just so versatile, Saturn can be used as a transient sculpting tool even tho it's advertised as a distortion/saturation unit. Or as a filter unit, or EQ unit, it even has dynamics processing which = multiband dynamics. FabFilters mod section in these plugs just adds endless options to shape these units into things they weren't even meant to be used as (timeless can be made into a beat slicer/glitcher for example). Hope that made sense lol

Check out FabFilters YouTube channel. Especially Dan Woralls tutorials on these plugs, and mixing in general.

Yes! I picked up Pro-Q, MicroWarmer and the video importer. These are fantastic. I can't believe the power and quality of Pro-Q. Really pleased with these purchases.
