The all-new Atomic Pinball Collection from the Graphics and Physics masterminds at Color Monkey and Nena is finally here. Get ready for some serious action with the best original pinball tables available. All tables are designed to be fully functional as real physical pinball tables. MASKS OF GLORY Set in the Mexican wrestling scene Lucha Libre, Masks of Glory is a fun and challenging table. With a Tequila Bar, different multi-ball modes, chickens, Bumper Mania, piñatas, the Good-vs-Evil-meter, illegal moves, lowriders, and tasty tacos, there is always plenty to do, or eat. You are the underdog trying to beat the other contenders like the bullying Diabeto, El Ligre, Carnal Muerte, the annoying Los Hermanitos Gallitos brothers and the playboy El Fantastico with hair so greasy you can almost feel it. But beware of El Diablo, the current reigning champion. He is big and bad, and his breath is even worse. REVENGE OF THE ROB-O-BOT This re-imagined version of the classic is back with more missions, updated graphics, new sounds (meet the new Betty!) and an even meaner Rob-O-Bot! The intergalactic Rob-O-Bot has invaded and is laying waste to this once peaceful city of the future. No-one knows why or where he comes from. It’s not important. Help Bazooka Betty to save the metropolis from destruction! But stay alert, the Rob-O-Bot is programmed for REVENGE! Information Seller:Nena Innovation AB Genre:Arcade, Simulation Release:Jan 09, 2015 Updated:Oct 05, 2016 Version:1.0.3 Size:109.8 MB TouchArcade Rating:Unrated User Rating: (12) Your Rating:unrated Compatibility:HD Universal Some important notes: First update (will be submitted on Saturday) - NEW: Robobot gets the new camera from Masks - NEW: Shows IAP price in buttons - Fix: Robobot multiball camera bug - Fix: Robobot IAP bug IAP prices Masks is $2.99 and Rob-O-Bot $0.99. We will add in the update prices visible in the buttons so you don't have to tap them. Worth noticing is that the reason Rob is so cheap is that people who bought the old version can get the new version for cheap, yeah and everyone else. We will increase it in a week. Known issues The multiball camera in Rob is sort of broken, so it feels better for us to give you guys a discount until the fix is out. We will submit it today and will hopefully be out in a couple of days. It will also add a glass sheet to the Masks of Glory table and some other fixes and tweaks. If you buy Masks, and then try to buy Rob, it will show a splash for Masks. Just tap cancel and try again, it should then show the correct popup. slewis7 Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 3,775 41 48 Male Retired! Fedorov Well-Known Member May 18, 2009 355 2 18 #3 Fedorov, Jan 9, 2015 Purchasing these tables immediately - I'm on a bus trip tomorrow so this will be with me on iPhone and iPad!!! Thanks krautboy Well-Known Member Apr 20, 2011 476 0 16 #4 krautboy, Jan 9, 2015 Awesome! Bought both tables without even trying. The new Rob-O-Bot is a lot flashier as the old version. Seems a tad easier, but i only played one round so that's hard to really tell. I managed to complete 3 missions in that round which is more than i manage to do average on the old version. Flashier, less retro and easier are my first impressions. Still an awesome table. Masks of glory is a fast paced table, easy to get multiballs, and defeating wrestlers is a blast. Managed to get to my third opponent on my second try. And i'm not by any means a pinball wiz. What really stands out here are the dot matrix animations, really hard to keep your eye on the ball with such eye candy flashing by. A very good start to what i hope becomes a big collection of tables. Nudging is still a problem for me. Touch nudge or even a sensitivity slider would very much be appreciated. It's just not doable to flick an Ipad 3 up in a consistant way. 9 out of 10 times it doesn't work and if it does i'm too late. Congrats and thanks Anders! This will give me many, many hours of playtime, whoohoo!!! slewis7 Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 3,775 41 48 Male Retired! Houston, TX #5 slewis7, Jan 9, 2015 Both tables are fantastic. I always completed the missions individually but never managed to complete them all in one go. Rob-O-Bot's camera system is the old one. It will be replaced by the new (and in our opinion, improved) camera system that we have in Masks Of Glory. There is a difference in static and moving camera in MOG, but it's not moving as much as the old one. When you shoot the side lanes and the ball is at the top, it moves upwards so you can see better what's going on. Enjoying the newer version of Rob-o-Bot, too. I spent far too much money on the Pinball Arcade tables, and discovered I didn't like a lot of them and found quite a few disappointing, but Rob-o-Bot has been a permanent fixture and just suits the touchscreen better than any other virtual pinball I've played. The new table is fun so far, too. Maybe it's just me, but I find Rob-o-Bot (and now Masks of Glory) to play great on the small-screen iPhone as well as on tablets, and I think that's why I stick with them. So many other pinball games don't nail the small screen so well (but if people have suggestions for those that do, please let me know). Eoghann Well-Known Member May 29, 2012 1,367 0 0 IT Guy/Graphic Designer/Gamer New York #17 Eoghann, Jan 9, 2015 Someone commented on the nudge. Awesome. That was a considerable gripe on the old Robo and I contacted the guys quite a few times about it. Never heard back. The shake device to nudge is severely innacurate because it's hard to tell if you're supposed to nudge it like a proper table, shake it or what. Touch nudge would be much more appropriate. Half the time my iPad nearly flew out of my hands when attempting to nudge. Pretty risky move that's not worth the novelty or effort. I don't make all the decisions as we normally vote, but I'll raise the issue once more, and who knows, maybe it'll pass this time. Our nudge works as in a real table, just vertically though. Eoghann Well-Known Member May 29, 2012 1,367 0 0 IT Guy/Graphic Designer/Gamer New York #19 Eoghann, Jan 10, 2015 @Anders: It was a while ago, through the colormonkey.se website email. We went back and forth a few times, but when I brought up the nudge, I never heard back. I'd strongly suggest the touch nudge as I mentioned. Works pretty well on Pinball Arcade. Or if you find a way to calibrate the gyroscope input so roughly shaking the ipad for it to register isn't required, that could potentially work. But side nudges are typically the ones I use the most compared to front nudge. MasonHurst Well-Known Member Jan 9, 2013 429 0 0 #20 MasonHurst, Jan 10, 2015 I've enjoyed Rob since he first appeared but he seems to has lost his dignity in this version. I don't like the high-pitched grating kids voices yelling "combo" constantly. I understand the first version felt sober and was stingy with sound samples but these voices don't seem to fit in at all. Far more irritating than enjoyable... IMHO (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
