I don't know if this is a sequel to that game or the same game, but it's a different publisher. I guess LiveZen sold the game to Playbean? Kind of a shame. Edit: having just downloaded and tried the game, it seems to be the same game with the same levels, enemies, bosses, etc. The only differences I detect were some superficial menus changes, some enhancement to the graphics, such as particle effects with exploding enemies, and the inclusion of IAPs (the original was very grindy even on medium level difficulty.) There seems to have been something lost in the fluency of the controls, however. Maybe it's just the performance of my device or something, but the ship feels less reactive, it doesn't seem to move as easily and I had to lift and reposition my finger a lot and the HUD at the bottom was in the way and I accidentally tapped some things on it. This never happened to me playing the original game so I'm not sure what the deal is. I guess it is still worth grabbing for free. It's a unique take on bullet hells, adding RPG elements. Just watch out for the difficulty levels, because it may be very frustrating for most players on hard levels and they will feel as thought they are being compelled to purchase IAPs. Again, the original game had no IAPs and was extremely difficult as well, it just necessitated lots of grinding. I managed to beat the game on the medium difficulty but it took me several hours to do so. caanerud Well-Known Member Mar 28, 2011 998 0 0 #4 caanerud, Dec 12, 2011 I was hoping this was a sequel, but no such luck. I always thought it was odd that they pulled the original. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
