    Cool beans. It would also help to note water, hazards, and other breakables and obstacles accessible only by certain items or jump height.

    I've been thinking of making a map myself too, but was thinking of mosaicing screenshots which would take a while considering i will be making it as I play. So i have to go with your plan :D

    Don't know about jump height, but things like breakable blocks, lava, water / bosses, etc would definitely be indicated.

    Jump height should be pretty obvious, assuming it's all done to scale (which I would do anyway).


    I actually just upgraded to the full version so after my exam (two hours from now) I will start working on the map from scratch. Yay?


    Edit: I might need help with things like switches. I just had a thought that I should indicate which switch activates what, but I don't even know how they work. Guess I'll just add them to the map and leave it at that until later.

    I really love the game, it's what I've been waiting for! So much so that this is the first time i've ever posted in a forum. But please please please will you be adding a MAPPING SYSTEM to the game in the future???? I love these games when there is a mapping system, it's how I play them to the fullest extent! (Like Robot Wants Kitty).

    Also, to address the "full screen" issue that I see a few folks have mentioned, why not just keep the screen as is, but instead of the blue star field you have around it (under the buttons) just expand the screen to see more? So the screen you have NOW is fixed as it is, but just continues a bit bigger, so your guy is never under a button. Again, as is, but without the star field. (the way you have it now reminds me of a VHS copy of the film The Dark Crystal I once had that was letterboxed, but instead of black bars, they opted to put stone designs there. Totally distracting.)

    That's where I'm stuck. Everything to the right is locked or too high. Everything below is blocked or made of lava.

    Woh. That's where im currently stuck too. Killed the Giant Slime (took like 2 seconds using the big pew pew). Now there isnt anywhere i can go to to get out of the area.

    I intend to go fight the Eyeball boss now but couldnt. So far just defeated the Knight and the Giant Slime.

    For all of you guys stuck here... You're screwed. That door is the only way out and the switch for it is on the right of that door. The dev confirmed it is now fixed and will be available for update as soon as apple gets round to it.

    Happened to me twice! Had to start over. I've now finished the game.

    If you start over just make sure you hit the switch for that door before you decend to kill the slug boss.

    Patience. LOL.

    There is a pattern where you can shoot the knight tank from behind everytime he shoots his beam cannon, but it requires you move from trench to trench to avoid getting trampled.

    Yeah... i checked the map (wasnt much of a spoiler since ive been through all of it in different playthroughs). There really isnt a way out. Imma have to restart again.

    Many, just be patient and he'll eventually drop. lol.

    Now that tells me boss bars Megaman style would be dandy, but that's not the metroidvania way :p

    sweet game. Just tried the lite, will be upgrading and seems $2 is a steal. Hats off!

    As is, I like it. However, a mapping system that shows rooms that you have explored would help many gamers that get frustrated with the time consuming exploration / memorization of a non-map game (metroid 1). maybe a map Iap for $1???? Just throwing out ideas.

    Again, great job. Hope there is expansions / games to follow. If so, you have my money.

    Ok, I need one more square and can't find it anywhere! Is there anyone here who has found them all and knows of one that was really well hidden?
