I responded to the issues that you brought up. The save transferring, the hitboxes, the button size, the instant death. Those were all issues that you brought up, and I responded to each of them. I'd like to know where this happens. Nobody but you has experienced this. edit: Actually, there is one spot where you have to suicide to get out. But since you couldn't even figure out to turn around once you got stuck at a wall, I don't think you got far enough to fall into the trap with a couple of yetis and the purple/green acid stuff.
And I had no issue with any of your responses with the exception of the flip "sorry." I'd like to tell you where this happens, except that your apparent treatment of previous feedback I've offered makes me feel strongly disinclined to invest any more of my time. In any case, if I'm the only one to have experienced this then I'm probably just making it up for the sake of being difficult. Good luck with your game.
I am an avid fan of retro games and just picked this one up after watching the entertaining and humorous trailer. I am very pleased with the style, controls, and mysterious ambiance of the game. As with my original impressions of the preview, playing the game causes me to more firmly believe that the AppStore really needs more of this type of creativity. I hope that this game gets the maximum amount of coverage from Touch Arcade that it deserves and I look forward to the mysteries that are in store for me as I continue exploring this alien world. My sincerest thanks to the developer for a job well done!
Yep i love retro looking games, bought this at 12am this morning, been playing it a fair bit and have left a review on itunes. I love the buttons, very happy with those and glad its not some new fangled slide/tilt crap or that. The graphics i love, got stuck in a few places but games like this are often about exploration, thats what also takes me back to the 80's when as a kid you had to explore games and wait a month or two for a magazine to have a map in it rather than nowadays when you can simply look online. For a one man band i think its a great game for the price. Think the buttons are fine, i've got a LOT of platform games on my device and yeah one of the most common moans is about the buttons/size of them. Think they work great on this game, yep theyre big but i havent had any issues. Can recommend this, reminds me of an old BBC B game from the 80's, look forward to more from this dev. This is how i wanted a 'Commander Pixman' sequel to be, lots of exploring instead of small levels. Game of the week for me
Weak-ass modern gaming expectations right there! Retro games were often unforgiving. If you f*** up, tough, learn next time. I can understand how gaming has evolved to the standards you're discussing though, and it works for modern games, so I mean no disrespect, but there was a definite charm to retro games forcing you into being a good gamer. My favourite game of all time is Jet Set Willy, and that had its fair share of game-breaking situations, but I found the experience all the more thrilling because of them. I love getting little peeks back into the past with apps like this.
Exactly ! Great post. Its funny when you look back at games such as Jet Set Willy or Manic Miner, you couldnt save your position, once your computer was turned off you had to start again the next day after school from the beginning! With iOS games you normally can save your progress, or buy IAP's to complete a game quicker. I know its different nowadays as companies want to keep you with their app but with so many available its easy to jump from one to the next, but i do think this game has a lot of nods back to the old days. To this day i'm still stunned when some kid moans that theres only 60 levels not 3000 in their 69p app. Try buying games for £8.95 each when you're a kid of 12 for your home computer ! With all these games at 69p or a pound or so people dont realise how lucky they are!

To make sure, I checked the full game map. Could you take a screenshot of where you got stuck by pressing the home and power buttons at the same time and then post it here? You may have already gotten Gabrien's $2, but you now definitely won't be getting mine! Christ, what an azzhole. As it stands right now, he's playing an awesome game (that he happened to make) and you've got some boring money. Are you really gonna let him get away with that? curiositydope New Member Jun 21, 2012 3 0 0 #79 curiositydope, Jun 21, 2012 Hello. Ut might be some mistake but there was some item in this room.
