I got stuck there also with no goggles. Had to restart. Did anyone start on the mapping? If not, I may start tonight.
Stuck in the portals! Really enjoying this game! Has anybody figured out how to get out of the never-ending portal chambers (as referenced in the trailer)? Big thanks to the developer and everyone else for keeping this thread active.
Firstly thanks for the replies to my issue. I have since restarted and gotten further than where I was before. X-ray goggles and running suit are funnn. This is where I am right now. Here is how to get to the boss. Spoiler As soon as you enter the portal area, drop down to the bottom teleporter. Use it. Drop down again. This should make you fall through the ground and into the boss room. Speaking of that boss, I can't seem to beat it no matter how hard I try. I have the full bar of health minus one pickup and I fight him using the x-ray goggles but he seems to not respond to damage or something. Is there something I might be missing? EDIT: nevermind, I got him. Woo.

You made me lose track of time, made me look like an idiot when the bank teller was calling my name but didnt hear her, and you made me walk 2 blocks to get home because i missed my stop. Awesome game. Kept playing despite having to restart due to being stuck in three different places (two of them confirmed as stuck positions here, the third saving in the underwater save location and then not being able to get back because I didn't have Spoiler the goggles. ). However, does anyone have any hints about Spoiler the second even faster mummy boss? Do I need any special items to kill him or do I just have to keep trying?
Astronot Still absolutely loving this game although I have been stuck a few times. Can anyone tell me how to get the goggles spoken about?? I have beaten the Knight and got the bigger gun but have yet to see the eye boss.
Spoiler It is unbeatable, well, it takes nearly 1400 hits to die. And you get nothing but a congratulations if you kill him .
What? Was this the Spoiler water location before the area with the glass and the lava that you have to walk through in order to find out where the final boss is located? Why do you need the goggles to get out? Spoiler Not really beatable.
I think so. Spoiler I couldn't leave on the left because of the lava (I didn't have fireproofing). I couldn't leave on the right because the long jump is uneven and I didn't have goggles to reveal the hidden platform. I was able to make the uneven long jump the first time because I did have the fast-run. If I'm not making sense I can add a screen shot when I get home. Perhaps I missed an alternate exit. Spoiler Glad I asked. Saved myself a frustrating bus ride home. Thanks! And thanks for making a great game.
Spoiler It never occurred to me that someone would do that. You're stuck. I'll make the jump larger in a future update so no one else does this. Sorry.

I am loving this game and it's amazing how diverse the environments get even with the simple Commodore Vic-20 style graphics! Awesome job for a one-man developer! I have all upgrades and am now ferreting out where those last four squares are! I also got the PC version and am now figuring out the editor. I've got the basic stuff figured out and know how the doors and portals work. Since this game was inspired by Metroid, I'd love to create a map based on the original Metroid!
The boss with one eye is absolutely kicking my ass, so does anyone have any tips one how I might destroy that goon??!! Thanks

So, have you Spoiler Unlocked the real ending? Collected all the Red Sorbet Balls? If not, the game trailer gives you a clue as to what to do once you've found all the squares.
Have you Spoiler Killed the knight in the castle yet? If not, do that first. It gives you a more powerful gun that makes the eye beatable.
