Here is the one thing I need to know, If answered by Paul, I will support him by buying all DLC(Since he usually doesn't answer me) Will this be released at Saturday at Midnight since it was a planned release?
Wow. Are americans really this pathetic? It makes no sense, I have a little cousin who is 12 who comes out with this sort of crap thats why I know you are a very small child and not worth much time. Please, for your sake, grow up.
I'm still confused on who's time zone it will be released in. Paul is in Scotland which is like __ hours behind the east coast of the us. And then he starts talking about Australia...
your so kind to him, but what are you going to do when you sign off, lurk the site for a couple hours then go to another one, hopefully your mommy might call you though, then you'll at least talk to one person this week who actually can come to your house and beat your butt when you misbehave
@ Paul I, like many others here, have great respect for what you're doing and can really appreciate the difficulties that a developer faces when trying to get an application through the scrutiny of the App review process. So, if something's held up for a few days (or longer) then that's fine - really. I'd rather wait for an application that meets your own personal high expectations and aspirations than one that was hastily put through just to meet the petty demands of those who've had their rattle taken away from them and have nothing better to do. Good luck on the launch and many thanks for always up-front about what's been happening in a timely manner - I, for one, like others, will be eagerly waiting for Astro Ranch and the chance to play with their own Spicken It'll be out when it's out, when it's good and ready, not a minute before! AR will be an instant buy for me, not only because of the way you approach and get involved with TA, but also produce and help to get some very high quality games into our hands. Thanks! p.s. hoping some MOD will come to this thread and GET IT BACK ON TOPIC!!! Sheesh, guys.. get a hotel room or something, will you?
Since I don't want my account banned by Hodapp himself, I will stop. and I don't want to lose my respect, even though it's not that high.
The game is completely ready. He's just holding it to hopefully make more money which I highly doubt will happen.
I don't believe he'll gain any money from this move, but I do think he will still make about the same in the long run and not lose any money either, I just think he'll lose some of that undying support from people who were worshipping this game a week or two ago @ paul, think of the flame war as us helping you advertise for this game, it did bring this page up a little so that people could see it in the upcoming games side of the main page....
I never said it wasn't his choice or that he had to do it differently. I was just explaining to the other person that the game was completely ready and they weren't changing anything about the game in this amount of time before release.
I wonder if this game is going to be as entertaining as this thread? Let's hope so. Just going to throw my opinion out. From a business stand point, they should release Astro Ranch when it makes sense to them. That being said the members that are upset about this have a right to feel that way. I mean, it is kind of like Paul just stopped by to say, I know you waited an extra week for this game, well it is now ready. But...we are not going to release it. In the mean time go tell everyone about this game and then we will sell it to you. Paul, it was a horrible Idea to tell us your game was ready and I mean horrible. It took some real balls to piss everyone off like that and because of that I will buy your game. And Rayman, of course.
@ Slush, Wow, great argument. Constructive criticism isn't complaining. Usually those who resort to name calling are childish and trashy, and you sir, sound like the one whining. I would have my Mom write to Paul, but she can't use a computer. Since you have no idea why I "think I can complain" its called free speech. I do have a lot going on tonight, I am moving my office downstairs. Seriously, get a handle on the name calling, it makes you look simple. @ Paul, I have been buying games on the appstore since Day One. I do know how it works. I also understand business very well. And yes, Michigan does suck. I am a New Yorker and I never like this state. I have been wanting to leave but my wife is settled in It's a FACT that most games release in the U.S. at midnight. Check Toucharcade or Appshopper and you will see. I have been in these forums for almost a year and I pay close attention to everything. I have bought over 1400 games, so I believe I am qualified to make my points. After all, this is a forum.
I like harvest moon better than animal crossing. With harvest moon you have responsibilities you have take care of every day. Animal crossing doesn't have very much to do. I mean it's a great game, I have it for the gc, ds, and wii, but it gets pretty boring quickly.
