The map is plenty big enough, especially if you have a lot of crops and animals to tend. It's then that the map seems too large and the walk to the shop and back seems to be too far to go as time passes so quickly. I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to reveal. I also don't want to spoil any surprises. So I'll stick with what's been shown in previews and screen images. Your house is in the top right-hand corner. The shop is just right of centre at the bottom of the map. There's about a screen and a half to the right of it an about two screens to the left. There's some additional areas such as the inside of your house. Access to the far left of the map is by means of a bridge. And to access the bottom shop area of the map you walk through the entry way in the fence as seen in the tutorial video. Astro Ranch time does pass as you walk. The larger your ranch the more precious your time and at those moments it can feel that everything else is too far away.

LMAO. I got the game too. I hate it because I love it. I'm so addicted... my ranch is worth 10,000 and I have three pens, 11 animals, two farms, electricity, and a sprinkler system. I'm level 7, by the way. I have access to almost everything. Albert's only level 3, so the best plants he could use were the carbots (carrots).
