PLEASE, once this game reaches the heights that it is destined for, do NOT sell out to a corporation like FMEA. If Firemint Pty. had not sold out to them, yes we would have a much different RR3 BUT I believe that the game's fan base would be much more supportive of the game and willing to spend some money on it. FMEA has created an environment of players who will NEVER give them one cent because of their greedy, underhanded policies of constantly changing what in-game currency is worth. (If a government did this to it's people with real currency, there would be a revolution.) Many players now seek out and utilize whatever holes can be found to obtain GC so that they can stay on pace with the rate at which updates are released. With RR3 we really have 2 games: the racing itself and the economics of the game. The racing is absolute fun... the economic situation is UGLY. I know that you guys have to make some money or why would you be in business. There is a big difference between fair pricing for a quality product and blatant extortion because a company can get away with it due to lack of competition. You guys are GOING TO BE that competition!
Hi. - Got the game a few days ago and Loving the FWD cars but a lot to learn with the RWD (I have been getting dizzy on the round track Will definitely work to earn the FWD and All WD cars I totally agree with Audi about the game, but am not one of the top ten RR3 contributors, but have been there for over a year, and driving RR3 for almost exactly 2 and a half years - Great things about this game - The devs are actually listening to input from you guys and responding Now that puts it streets ahead of RR3 for a start. Economic model is better Can't believe its been here in Aus for so long and I missed it - I am not a total rev head, and will not be a top speed name to watch out for, but is there a list of more than the top ten ? I may be your oldest member so shows that the other members could be here for a long time Well done so far Devs
Are the top2-scores really possible with this unmodified car? Same question for the leading score on the same track with the unmodified peugeot (see picture in the next post) If so, am i missing something besides driving on a decent line with a decent speed? Thank you!
I've been wondering that too for some tracks! Tried dozens of laps and can't seem to get past a ceiling. With the Peugeot it's most important to get the power down before the long straight so I'm wondering about slightly compromising the last turn to straight-line sooner but it's easier said than done once you're used to your usual line... like trying to break a habit! I do think those times are possible but would have to absolutely nail everything. A little lift of the throttle and small jab of steering at EXACTLY the right points will probably let you keep the momentum. Getting that timing right all the way around is really tricky though! Must say I'm really getting into this game. Once you tune into the handling they feel really good on the limit and the differences between cars, and the way their attitudes change based on your inputs and co-ordination (aggressive vs. progressive) is very accurate end result, even tho the physics are a bit odd up to that point. (I mean it looks like your are rotating the car around its centre at lower speeds). On the limit its great tho. Understeer and oversteer slightly more affected by inclines is spot on. Overall it's better than my previous favourite iOS racer which was 2k Drive.
Actually, I should have looked closer. I thought it was the other GT-R. I didn't actually own the cheaper one yet. Just did a few laps with it on the first track and yeah, no way is a 1:01 or 2 possible! I just got a 1:08.639 (think their server is down so not updating the list) and I feel a high 1:06 would be possible. Maybe 05. That's an awful big gap to 1:02! For the Peugeot I guess that half second is somewhere to be found!
1:08.623 here # and if you have a closer look again: for the peugeot it is 1.5s! And between 2nd and 10th place it is just 0.2s ... Until now i didn't have a favourite racing game on iOS. But now i have #
Nice little ding dong we had there mate! I could see you chipping away... .6 ... .4 .... .3 .... .155!! I sneaked into the 07's and there's definitely more there, but I think I changed my mind on the possibility of a 06 now! Low 07's, yes but man that is on the edge. 01 amd 02 hmmmm... Unless there's a flukey/lucky way of handbraking somewhere or even taking a corner cut penalty that saves you time in a cheaty sort of way I think top 2 times must be bogus. And yes indeed 1.5 with the Peugeot is an eternity. Unless there's a similar trick that isn't "really" normal driving then it's suspect to me! That final few tenths for me is in scrubbing as little speed as possible in the turns. As soon as I hear skidding I was just fractionally coming off the wheel then turn in again... like a really small chopping at the wheel so it can maintain at least the current rolling speed. I figure you can't drop below 100mph on any turns to achieve it, so keep an eye on the speedo and see how the scrubbing affects it.
Yes, this was fun. Now it's time for bed ... I cannot go below 100mph because my HUD shows km/h # Try to save your credits for the GTR35 + all upgrades! This is the real fun! 55.xxx so far here at the time trial ...
OK will do! I got the car already and about 150k credits so I'll see how far that takes me! In the PC racing sims I used to play a lot, I've always most enjoyed pushing slower cars to the max. Must have spent many thousands of hours in my trusty 1965 Alfa Romeo GTA in GT Legends! I guess the new physics update is going to make the current times null and void anyway now!
