Once the online leader boards have appeared for version 1.0.19, it's on like Donkey Kong!
The online leader board should be updated with the latest version as a filter. Let us know if there are any problems!
It's on! Best of luck everyone... you will need to install the latest update to be able to compete in event 15.
We posted this on MAR but just a reminder, you can now access leader boards inside the game. Just press the gear icon on the home screen and tap the AR icon to access the rankings! Tap Search to bring up the menu.
That sounds like a decent option as long as the 1 lap rolling start can't be bettered by the multi-lap. A bit tricky on some tracks due to the momentum. Maybe we should all forget I mentioned it.
(drive-by) MFi-controller test report: Using HORIPad with iPhone 6s D-pad does work with one direction only. Need to use the mushroom stick Pause button does not work, all other buttons has no problem Response is great, find no dead zone fttb Reset to Default does not work when the car is running. CurryMutton out.
Ok, so thinking about getting an MFi controller and was thinking of the madcatz CTRLi controller as it is good for iOS. Don't wanna waste £40 on a controller I'll never use
Fair to say, controller support in RR3 is absolute rubbish, whereas the supports by this and Rush Rally 2 are pretty good. If you do not have the compulsiveness in using the D-Pad, you are in good hands, man. After checking the Assoluto Racing videos on YouTube and you will be amazed how many are using controllers to play this sim (and manual shifting too). I am still learning how to drift in this one, so talk again later.
The CTRLi is really a good one. Works great in Goblin Sword for instance. But as long as the d-pad doesn't work right in AR it makes no sense by now (for me )
AR Official is a blast with driving multiple laps! It is the only track where you can start lap 2 going 150+ mph. (Yamagata might be close but then you have to start slowing down right after crossing the starting line.) I recently broke 200 mph in the Evo X modified before then having to brake in order to enter turn one. Modified races are way more fun for me than unmodified!
Difficult as hell on a touchscreen though. Tryna change gear whilst steering and accelerating can really crowd the screen, thus not being able to see... And then crashing
Ah ok cheers. It doesn't matter because I plan to use the MFi controller for other games aswell and hate using the screen (especially now it's starting Glitching ) Mind you, they'll fix it eventually.
How big (or small) is your screen? I play on my iPhone 6 and don't have any issues shifting, accelerating, braking and steering. I think that if I played on a larger device like an iPad mini, the whole set up would be TOO BIG for me. I guess it is what I am used to, so it works for me!
AR Championship Series - Event 15 Half-Time Report Halfway thru event 15... here is how the VERY SMALL field is looking: 1. AudiR8cer = 1.5 2. Himajin = 2 3. VimFuego = 3 4. gps01 = 3.5 Where are you AlfaPower? nissangtr786? JAZZMAN???
Well that makes sense then. I would probably try using a separate controller as well for a screen this size.
I think time is up now if I am correct which means I get 1st overall. Took about 40 minutes to get 1st overall and I got like 1-2 seconds in hand on the 4 tracks I did first on. The thrill of doing a late dash to victory. To be honest I don't have recording feature on my tablet so only will do hot laps when I find my other iphone so I can record. These laps were just going round the track to just do enough for victory
