I was thinking it would be nice for the unmodified events to be multi-lap but I guess this takes away the challenge of only having one shot. I guess I like to get into a rhythm and see incremental improvements per lap.
That depends on the type of car, FF cars are more likely to under-steer, and I agree that CRZ is much faster than before. Even halfhearted try smashed all my previous records. on the standard track.

Nooooo ... then you have to do an additional lap before you can start racing and if you make a mistake you have to wait another lap. I would like to see the single-lap for the modified instead of multi-lap for unmodified. Multi-lap is much more time consuming, IMHO
Or have the rolling start we have now in the unmodified series, and have the option to do 1-10 laps. This will make it more worthwhile if you can get consistant laps (unmodified it will be easier as the car isn't so crazy).
Upgrades cane be done with coins or gold, the choice is yours. I use only cash and save my gold for more garage spots.
Yes, a rolling start would be the go. I'm happy with the challenge of the current format though, it's very satisfying to hook it all up knowing you only have one chance.
What about the ability to choose 1-10 laps for all unmodified races? That way some of you can race only 1 lap with a rolling start if this is what you prefer or you can race multiple laps to get into the rhythm like I prefer. The fastest lap is what is recorded on the leader boards.
Even though the update has been released, the leader board filter only goes up to Version 1.0.14 so this is what I will be pulling scores from later today, when this event ends. If you have not yet installed the update then you can continue to improve your lap times. If you have already installed the update, then you are done for this event. Move on to the next event: Lancer Evo X modified.
Cool.. Already on the Evo. Another question.. Are the new rounds using the reverse tracks also? Or just the 4 forward as per what we have been doing? Sorry for the questions #
AR Leader Boards Down? The leader boards are down for me. Anyone else able to see our lap times? I'm thinking that this event should be restarted in 24 hours, once everyone has updated to 1.0.19. Thoughts???
We are continuing the schedule as planned, without the reverse tracks. Perhaps once this series is done, we can do a reverse series. When this next round starts, I think that we should have two series going simultaneously, which I will need help with hosting/keeping score. I can host the modified series. I will need a volunteer to host the unmodified series. This way, we can really see who shines in either series. If you want to participate in both, anyone can do this. Or they can choose to participate in only the modified or only the unmodified. There will be 3 sets of AR Championship Series 2 leader boards.
It is back up now and I have grabbed all of the necessary screenshots. I will post final results of event 14 soon. Although you are all free to start event 15 (Lancer Evo X modified), the event will not officially start until the leader board online has been updated to include version 1.0.19. Everyone should update NOW.
