AR Championship- Event #4 Update We are almost 22 hours into this event. Here is how the field looks: 1. Kingklutz = 1.25 2. gps01 = 3 3. AlfaPower = 3.5 4. Jazzman = 4 5. Ivortheengine = 4.75 6. cy@n = 5.75 7. AudiR8cer = 6 8. biap = 8.5 9. Tin = 9 10. VergilJackal = 11.75
Will look into that, in case it is a bug of some kind, but more than likely it is the fact that the tires don't have enough grip to support that beast in turns. That is where the next update with R compound and racing slicks come in. It is coming very soon!
Excellent, I'm finding even on the straight it is wandering around under acceleration. Some sticky tyres will help. This game is so good, thanks devs#
If you are slipping all over it may be that your settings are causing oversteer. I experienced this when Ackerman angle was too high, front tire pressure was too low and brake balance was more towards the front end. By reversing these, you balance this AWD beast better.
Just set everything back and upped the Ackerman angle to 0.6. seemed to be much better. @devs: is it possible in the tuning screen to have a reset to default button?, to set all tuning options back to default. (Unless there already is one that I missed). It would be handy when settings go too far to be able to reset and start over.
Yeah I just had a thought that to reset all of them with one button would be nice . You've got some quick times already with the R34.
AR Championship Event 4 Update With only 7.5 hours remaining in this fourth event, here is how the field currently looks: 1. KingKlutz - AlfaPower = 1.75 3. gps01 = 3.5 4. cy@n - Jazzman = 4.5 6. Ivortheengine = 5.5 7. AudiR8cer = 6.5 8. biap = 8.75 9. Tin = 9 10. VergilJackal = 11.75 With 2 tied situations above, this is going to be a CLOSE one!
AR Championship Series & the Next Update Someone at the MAR forum asked a great question: what happens when the update interrupts an event? (The contents of an update COULD effect lap time results.) When a game update is released in the middle of an event, we should start the event over once everyone has had the opportunity to download and install the latest version. I think that a 48-hour break period would be sufficient time. This will then just push all future events back 2 days on the schedule. It keeps everything simple. Thoughts?
There are different record tables for different versions. We should just wait to update our devices until the event ends and just the results for the version at the beginning of an event count. Just my 2 cents
I have been thinking about this too, trying to find if the plan is "air-tight." Everyone would have to NOT update until the event is over, or you would not be able to post any faster lap times for the current event once you install the update. Installing the update would then record your lap times set after the install into the next leader board. This next leader board would then be what is reviewed for all future events of course.
AR Championship Event 4 Has Concluded Congrats to Kingklutz for his SECOND win of the season: Driver standings so far: TOP FIVE DRIVERS: 1. Jazzman = 61 2. gps01 & Kingklutz = 60 4. AlfaPower = 51 5. AudiR8cer = 45 As of right now, the update as NOT been released, so we are moving forward with event #5 as scheduled. Good luck everyone with the Nissan GT-R34 MODIFIED!
Boy I'm having issues getting a feel for the GTR R34, just can't sort it properly. First car in the game that I can't come to grips with
A list of the results like you show in your intermediate results postings would be great to see in the final results postings, too
