I don't have the NSX R, gonna have to buy and upgrade, I have every other car, but I've only fully upgraded the GTR 35. Gonna have take up these challenges# Edit, I do have the NSX R, it's the type zero I don't have.. Now I gotta get upgrading
Anyone have the GT-R 34 yet? I just did a 1:02.147 at Yamagata. SomeHOW Lucete is still basically a whole second ahead of me however.
Alright, let's get focused here. Who wants to compete with the modified NSX-R on all four tracks? I am in! I'm currently: AR = #3 Blue = #3 Yamagata = #2 Forest = #2
Thanks, it's at tail happy little beast. I actually cant explain it, all othe racers I've played I'm never anywhere near the top, something just clicks with this one. I found putting the Ackerman angle at about 0.7 helps with turn in, and I lowered the rear tyre pressure to about 21, to help with grip a little. Still gotta be really easy with throttle application..
Sounds great, I've just spent an entire evening on this, the physics are just superb. I surprised myself by making it onto some leaderboards. I jumped the barriers in one race and went cross-country, I drove off the end of the world and ended seemingly floating in space. It was rubbish for my lap time but very cool!
I know that part of the reason why I am in the top portion of these leader boards right now, is because not that many people are playing AR yet. With RR3, I was usually within the top 1500-2000 fastest players but there are close to 100,000 people playing the game. Once AR's popularity grows we will either see our lap times fall in the leader boards, or we could get lucky and stay near the top. I am also thinking that this game just clicks with me as well. I'm enjoying the fame while it lasts anyway. I have only raced Yamagata this morning in my NSX-R... I am within 3/10 of a second of you now GPS. I am using 0.9 Ackerman. I will have to try lowering my rear tire pressure to see if that helps. Your lap time of 1:04.7xx is impressive!
Man, I've got to save up for upgrades and cars. I should get the x2 thing but can't XD. Ah well, ultra grind for me then
You are right... you SHOULD purchase the Credit Doubler to earn credits faster for upgrades and to show support for the game.
Mainly the support because I can see this easily surpassing RR3... Probably. If people want to play a pay to play game then they will want to play a pretty much free to play game.
I finally got you at Forest Path! I'm SOOO close at Yamagata... maybe if I stick out my tongue when crossing the finish line.
Acura NSX-R (Modified Series) Standings Here are the results so far: AR Official- GPS (1), Jazzman (2), AudiR8cer (4) Blue City- AudiR8cer (1), GPS (2), Jazzman (3) Yamagata Circuit- GPS (1), AudiR8cer (2), Jazzman (3) Forest Path- AudiR8cer (1), GPS (2), Jazzman (3) Calculating our average place and then dividing by 4 races yields the following points (lowest is the winner of course): 1. GPS = 1.5 2. AudiR8cer = 2 3. Jazzman = 2.75 Cyan- I will include your ranking in this competition as soon as you post a result for Forest Path. I propose that we hold competitions like this as an on-going thing. This particular one started almost 24 hours ago. How long should we let it run? We need to establish a pattern for all future events. 24 hours? 48 hours? One full week? I think that we should also include the players at myassolutoracing.club as well. We should definitely alternate between Modified and Unmodified series so that everyone can participate if they have the correct car for each event. Due to the heavy load of Peugeot lap times on the leader boards, I vote that we skip this car. Let's do Lancer Evo X (unmodified) after this current event, if no one has any objections. (We will cover all cars in both series eventually.) Let's make each event last only 48 hours so that we can actually finish a full round within 48 days. (If we get a new car during this time, then we WON'T include it until the next round starts.) You MUST post lap times on all four tracks before your name will be posting in the results. Let's stick to just posting the top 10 players for now since we don't have an automated system to do this busy work for us. Everyone can participate of course but I don't have the time to work on a results page that has 100 players listed.
Not really, I got the Ackerman angle stuff from info that the dev posted(thank you devs#) and the rest is a bit trial and error to see what works.
