I'll have to take a look, any track in particular? # Edit: I see you were fast at AR Official.. But is it enough #
Forest path is all down to smooth lines and that high speed blind corner (with gravel trap to the right) needs to be two wheeled and then a late cornerIng into the 2nd to last corner to et momentum into the straight. Although doing this is going to take practice and a bit of luck
For sure, feels pretty satisfying when you get it right though! ( which is not as often as getting it wrong # )
Hi everyone! Manual transmission beta build is out 1.0.11 Please let us know if you have any issue with it! The big update is coming in the 1.0.12 tho. One step at a time!
I'm loving manual shifting! Thank you for bringing the "FUN" back to mobile racing games! At first, I thought that it was weird starting a race in neutral but this is accurate since your left foot should be pushing down on the clutch while your right is hovering above the gas, ready to accelerate as soon as the race starts. I do prefer my upshift (+) button on the left side of my screen (to the right of my brake button) and my downshift (-) button on the right side of my screen (to the left of my gas button). This setup works better for me. Will be rerunning all cars on all circuits to get the feel of where shifting points are. I do like being able to slow down in turns simply by downshifting instead of braking too much. Thanks for fixing the funky lap counter.
Hmmm. Nice, but............ I love the inclusion of the manual transmission, but I have to be honest in saying I really don't like the way it's implemented. Should be a swipe up and down rather than a button tranny. Even when placed next to the gas, it feels awkward.
Manual shifting adds a huge component to this game that others (that's you, RR3) don't have. The added workload really ups the realism. To me it seems as if some major change has taken place beyond the shifting. Even in automatic mode, I am not able to come remotely close to my previous times. It feels as if the grip components has changed. Is everyone else seeing this? If so, this might be a good time to clear the boards again. - Jazz
I've just updated the app and it doesn't boot. It shows a black screen and back to the springboard. I've got an iPhone 4S with iOS 7.1.2. EDIT: deleting and reinstalling fixed the issue...
Steering is a lot heavier I have noticed. Played AR official, flicked the car into the first corner annnnnnnd Nope
Yes! I just tried the the fully upgraded gtr35 and the car seems to be much more inert than before. Is this the promised update of the game physics? If so the leaderboards should get a reset immediately #
Leader Boards in Modified Series I know that the next update will bring OFFICIAL physics changes and at that time, the leader boards will be reset again, so this is really a mute point right now. However, I don't think that the F, D or C, B lap times (for any of the 4 circuits) should be populated with our A, S and S+ lap times. Example: I was racing my Integra Type R a few minutes ago at Blue City (in F, D rank) and could not figure out how the 25th rank is 5 seconds ahead of me with a 0:48.xxx, while I have a 0:53.894. Then I remembered that a few days ago I saw my GT-R 35 Forest Path S+ record filling the leader board of the 2 other classes as well. Let's keep lap times set within different upgrade classes separate from each other. Otherwise the F, D and C, B lap times become irrelevant so then what's the point of racing them, other than to get credit for having completing them?
Not sure they are higher classes. I am finding myself 5-10 seconds slower pretty much everywhere. In a few cases I can see my old score, so I know it is not a class thing. I actually don't have a problem with new new dynamics, just can't get close to my old times. If a major physics change is coming then a reset at that time should be cool. - Jazz
@Devs I think it's better you explain that physics is a sort of WIP, atm, in store's description (maybe with a in game disclaimer, too).
