Would it be too much work to ask for weekly leader boards while these physics changes are going on? Or just a different leader board for each physics update. That way we can all see our lap times during different stages of development.
Tbf, I think this game needs online ghosting. I want to be able to go to the top 25, choose their ghost and race against it. Cus y'know, I like to beat people and I learn from the best Still stuck on that damn 1000 metre license.
This would be in the same category as online multiplayer and team events... they need to have servers that are feeding this ghost information out to all of our devices. Right? Or would online ghosting and team events be much simplier than OMP? With ghosts, you are just sending out information to our devices similar to telling us what the current leader board lap times are. Team events would be us doing the sending, with your server receiving. OMP requires more server power because there is a lot more information being sent and received simultaneously in real time, around the world.
Soooo I've been experimenting... I wanted to figure out the quickest way and came up with this Stock race: 1 lap Prize: 1,457 CR (x10 = 14,570) Time trial 2 laps Prize: 2,313 CR (x5 = 11,565) Time Trial 10laps Prize: 9163 CR However there a few variables that may affect the prize. And that's consistancy. I noticed on some laps in the 10 lap that I was getting some 1 minute 40 seconds and more. And also explains why you don't get a lot for 2 laps (because of the standing start) TL;DR It doesn't matter as long as you are consistent. Long races are pointless if you don't keep getting good times.
What you are doing with these experiments is exactly what we all do with RR3 on MRR (myrealracing.club) forum. I have experienced a game crash 3 times now when doing a 10-lapper which was frustrating because during these sessions, I had accomplished the goals for the Time Attack sections. Naturally I had to rerun them to get credit. My advice is don't race anything longer than 5 laps if you are trying to complete a section. If you are just racing for fun or credits then no big deal. #5 in the world on AR Official in my Nissan Silvia:
Come on guys... this is TIME ATTACK (S+): Yes, my final lap was a 1:18... I spun out and then gave up.
@AudiR8cer, I'm way behind you at the moment, gotta do a heap of upgrades. I've been saving for the NSX, wanted to give it a try next
Whoa I just upgraded my Z car to have a go at this and it's hell of a tricky beast when upgraded. Can't lean on it at all. I just have no sense that it's going to snap away all of a sudden. Think I'm going to have to downgrade and see if it lets you push a bit more to make up for less power. 659HP is way too much for this short wheel base RWD car I think!
Definitely start by going back down to stage 1 on the engine for the Z, at least to start. I don't think the grip limits will allow you to use the higher torque in stage 2, and stage 3 simply turns the car into a gyroscope! - Jazz
Problem is to enter it as an S+ you have to go to stage 3 engine I think. 1 notch down is just S rated. (From memory, which is shot!)
