Hum, i can't really tell, if this gonna be the last reset, i know you guys are killing the leaderboard now and that must feel bad to have your time reset each time the physics changes. But i guess its something necessary and it can't be helped. My guess physics could be updated for at least 2-3 months based on the feedback from users etc.. After that it should stabilize. On a side note i am working hard to make the Leader-board menu. Hopefully i will be able to push it for the next release.
Thanks for Playing and giving Feedback GPS, that's awesome! The Ackerman angle has been made to give better handling in corners. If you turn left, the turning wheel radius of the inner wheel is shorter than the outer wheel. That mean that must have a different rotation angle to guarantee less slip. An Ackerman angle of 0 in the game will give parallel steering. (middle picture) A value of 1 will Apply full ackerman (see the extreme left picture) The default value is 0.5 In a nutshell Use Ackerman for Grip races (between 0.5 to 1.0 is good) Use 0 Ackerman for Drifting Reverse Ackerman will be supported soon (To get sick drift angles)
Can't wait to test MFi support... In my opinion ghosts should have priority over IA, and split times over ghosts. But I'm a time attack lover.
Thank you so much for the Ackerman explanation devs.. Already drastically improved my times.. This game is so so good. Absolutely loving it!!
Thanks for the explanation! Stupid question: how can I access the tuning of various parameters? I can only find the purchase of upgrades only. Thanks.
Thanks! Is the menu only available for time trials? My $0.02. Using hand brake to "toss" your car into the blue and white square is the best way to earn gold in the braking test.
Dude i feel your pain, i can't get gold myself lol. I remember the way i got gold on this was by braking hard and throwing the car sideways around 850 m. But, i think this license test is way too hard to get gold. Since the physics changed a lot and will change again in the next version, i will have to re-balance all the times for the license tests.
I find "tossing" is a good method, just hit handbrake at the right distance/moment. Any tips for FR car dummies, btw?
I have tried all sorts of methods at different places, but I'll try you method. Are you sideways at 850 or jut initiating the slide?
Congratulations! Which car? Stock Race or Time Trail? The leaderboard menu is desperately needed # A live table on the website would be a simple first solution #
