I don't know how that happened, as I had it already linked to Facebook each time I redownloaded it. Literally. Something most likely went wrong on the other side.
Few new updates out. The menu theme is now an edited version of Ezio's Family (AC2 theme), some menu changes, Thief class available through Heroic missions, not sure what else.
I started playing this in the very early stages of the soft launch and it was pretty good. I really dig the RPG elements in it. I ended up quitting after all the updates started pouring in and changing stuff up. I figure I'll wait for the worldwide release. It's gotta be soon with the new AC releasing on consoles.
Lol, they're working on the android support and worldwide release in unison at the moment, but it's been months. They've restricted anyone from posting photos of the game and haven't had any updates for months.
New Orleans rocks I'm right up the river from there It seems like it's been soft launched for two years
Seems like it's finally getting a worldwide release (25th Feb): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ofQ8HqU3yw
They blocked the video, not to mention there were two different dates, February 1st and February 25th.
they have officially announced in a press release that its coming Feb 25th Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
I'll definitely pick this up unless initial reviews are scathing. How many of you guys played the old Gameloft Assassin's Creed? I just re downloaded it to give it a whirl, but it doesn't run on my iPhone 6. Maybe I'll fire up the old 2G iTouch and play it to whet my appetite.
Considering the description in the first post mentions "free" multiple times, I highly doubt this is the case.
That's weird. How will they handle long time players? And I can't get my hours of progress and exclusive soft-launch items because of Gamecenter.
The $4.99 price tag sparked my interest. I played the game during soft launch, and while I really liked it gameplay-wise, there were a lot of elements which are typical of the free-to-play model (including the multiple IAPs and the required internet connection). Will those elements be done away with/toned down when the game is globally released, or will Unisoft simply stick a price of entry on the game as it is now and call it a day? I guess we'll find out February 25th.
A concern I have is about what they did with ACirates after it released, and I think maybe that will happen to this too.
