Been a while since I played, but if I remember correctly there isn't a storyline at all. Which kinda ruined it for me as the gameplay got old after a while. Graphics, movements/controls, animations and everything seemed very nice for a mobile game at the time though.
When I played it, you just played through short generic missions where you deliver/steal items or assassinate targets. There wasn't much or any story behind why you were doing these things that I remember. There wasn't much variation in gameplay or maps back then and I remember repeating the same mission over and over which is why I became bored quickly. However, that was early in it's soft-launch so it doesn't really mean much of anything at this point.
TA posted AC identity in the outnow thread, yet I see no sign of it in the US app store ... I might as well use the time to finish up my banner saga to free up some space and get ready for it.
Looks pretty similar to what I remember, controls moved a bit. Don't remember ever getting to see maps beyond the first two so it's nice to see a little variation early on in the game.
Since there are banners everywhere, I edited the thread title and the first post. The link in the first post should work...at some point.
From iTunes description: "*ASSASSINS CREED* is one of the most popular franchise of all time. Its success has been built through years with famous titles such as Assassins Creed Syndicate, Assassins Creed Unity, Assassins Creed Black Flag etc." Hmm... I wouldn't consider Unity one of the games that made this franchise successful and Ubisoft acknowledged they made a mess with that game.
