Exactly. I've played it for hours today and I forget there's even IAP until I read this thread

 

Here’s a couple of new outfits. The one on the left alone would cost £7.99 ($10.99) in real money if you were to buy coins, but there’s no need. It’s pretty easy to earn decent in-game currency once you get a bit further into the game.

I'm getting the same thing. It was working great earlier but now it won't connect online.

I've just had another notice saying - "The Animus servers are currently under maintenance. Please try again later."

Oh geez...Forums are going to lose their mind over this now. With all of the online requirement hate...and now their servers prevent playing....prepare for mass rage :/

Yeah I just got that too, I checked their Twitter but it doesn't say anything about a maintenance today.

 

I'm getting an error as well and can't play it but I got some stuff to do anyway so hoping when I get back to it this won't still be happening

 

Yep, just got the same thing. Their servers probably went "boom" from all the pressure. Brace for impact!

 

The animus loading/syncing is seriously annoying. It takes like over a minute sometimes which is ridiculous. Anyone else having this?

True. I've had that, but then GC just returned one day, as if nothing had happened. What's unbelievable is how apparently apathetic Apple seem to be regarding this issue.

Unless the wi-if signal is weak, those loadings go pretty fast for me.

I'm a fan of the game but I think this is the first premium game I have ever purchased that's down for maintance
I'm not crying about it I have a ton of games I need to be playing anyway and I'm sure it will be fixed. Just trying to think if I have ever had a premium game that's down for maintenance and I'm pretty sure I have not.

And if people read the comments of people who have actually played the game like me they would see that most of us are happy with our purchase and find this to be a good game because our expectations are at a reasonable level. I have certainly paid 5$ for much worse
