Assassin's Creed coming to the iPhone

in case you're wondering it's the 3D version, not the 2D one.

Ehhh,,, well just a thought. I'm really hoping gameloft doesn't screw it up though, totally bad for their reputation and whatnot.

Yeah, iPhone is heaven for wannabe games. There are other wannabe games that you haven't mentioned, but they're not as high-profile, eg. monster typer (patapon), absorbed (clone from psp game), kirby clone, etc.

Oh yeah, Choppy. I remember purchasing that game and deleting it almost right away. Good effort by the devs, though.

is wack mane. Come on, its looks exactly like Assassin Creed on ds, I wouldn't be surprised if i saw a Nintendo logo. But hey that's what greedy developers do, dump a crappy port to get some green

I am a huge AC fan and am eagerly awaiting ACII, it looks stunning. They are getting rid of the repetitive aspects and keeping everything that was so good about the original. I just can't imagine why I would want to play a small, ugly version. If it was a completely different experience with different gameplay made specifically for the iPhone yes, but a port of a DS port of a triple AAA title just has FAIL written all over it : )

 

its not a port of the ds game its a mobile remake of the original with HoS controls

Looks like someone at IGN got a hold of the game to play. Doesn't actually say its a port, but makes plenty of references to it being a port.

The DS game, mobile phone game and iPhone game are all one and the same. Only slightly optimised for differing controls.

The iPhone game is the same tripe as the DS game. Get over it.

 

Well looks like gameloft will be releasing Terminator Salvation for 7.99 - 9.99. I'm really hoping that this game comes out for their regular 5.99 price tag... and I also hope that Terminator Salvation being 7.99 - 9.99 is a rumor
