oh nooooooooooooooooooo so it will be the same DS and even java version? only left and right damn how could apple accept it? look at new Assassin's Creed 2: Bloodlines (PSP) by Ubisoft it's fantastic
dont buy this. psp version is much better. if you buy this you support them thinking psp is better. sorry for my eng-.
The first one is basically a side-scroller as well, I don't see what the fuss is all about. They're both lame compared to their next-gen brothers. That said, they should've made an improved version for those who have 3GS since it's technically more capable than PSP.
agree agree agree guys let's BAN them! and please don'y buy it.they must know idevice is a new console game (Touch Portable) and they must add our iphone/ipod touch to their homepage and for game platforms just look at this and : we know "GTA china town wars" is not released by Rockstar yet but we almost know it's the same psp version and even beaterator and Rockstar added our idevice game console to their game homepages (GTA and beaterator) and others like namco konami........... ubisoft must change
but on the first one,you can interact with people around it's like 360 movement but limited area but with this one,it's just a side-scroller....haizt...... ok....let's just hope the gameplay will save the game
Well it's past midnight here in NZ and it's not out... Maybe it'll be released midnight in the US, so that's about 5pm here. Oh well, it might take a while to appear in the app store anyway.
Should have been out a few hours ago. I'm very disappointed in Ubisoft. Maybe I should make a thread on this...??
Please do, make a poll 'are you impatient waiting for AC2?', followed by 'are you upset that it is a few hours late (1 full day late here in australia)?', then 'what do you think about the price?' and finally 'do you like the game?' just joking, I like your polls
Wen will they understand that those sidescrollers suck? Gameloft did the same on Java devices, big brands but always the same crap - Splinter Cell etc etc...
iPhone version of Assassin’s Creed II: Discovery due today To coincide with its release on other platforms, Assassin's Creed II: Discovery will finally be released on the App Store today. Naturally, the iPhone version will differ somewhat from the immersive open world Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions, with gameplay instead thought to take the form of a side scrolling platformer. Fans of the series shouldn't be disappointed, though. There's still plenty to be excited about in the prospect of taking control of Ezio and guiding him through a fluid free-running experience with heavy stylised violent assassinations. "Assassin's Creed II is all about visceral combat - brutal hand-to-hand and wicked one shot kills. When you're fighting in this game you're going to feel every blow," says a spokesperson from Ubisoft. An added feature enables gamers to utilise the iPhone's camera to put real faces in wanted posters dotted around the game. Assassin's Creed II hasn't appeared on the App Store and is possibly due for a release at midnight. Rest assured that as soon as it's live Pocket Gamer will be the first to have it downloaded, with a review to follow shortly thereafter. http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Assassin%27s+Creed+II%3A+Discovery+%28iPhone%29/news.asp?c=16785
