Get the Xbox version! It is amazing! I have played it for about 2 hours or so! It is awesome! The story is even better than the first, and the gameplay is less repetetive.
Ubisoft's pretty useless. I would recommend noone buying this game to make them apoligize but I just want it too much.
Yeah I know! Ubisoft is really pissing me off. They don't fulfill their promise and release it along with the console version, and then the remain completely silent when we innocently, or not so innocently ask them what is going on. I, for one, will not purchase this game because I refuse to support a company who does not care and leaves its customers in the dark. It didn't really even look all that good anyway, and there's probably going to be a ridiculous price tag on it. Scratch ACII off of my list...
I'm quite disappointed too. I finished Ravensword and thinking by the time I finished that, AC2: Discovery would be approved.. but I was wrong I'm still going to get it though.

rofl i love the mods here they better give us some damn promos or make it free cause i doubt the majority of anyone on this site will buy the game
if they do they obviously are getting paid to write Post-it notes to each other Not one person in the GotOats group has even been able to get a whisper out of these people
just got a ps3 tht came with AC1 this makes me want AC2 on iphone even more though cos the pacings a little slow
No idea. I was already skeptical about buying it [side-scroller, meh] But now I'm 99.98% positive I won't buy it due to their lack of communication.
This is what I think is happening: As the game is based on the DS version, I think it makes less sense to create the iPhone and DS version together, as they're basically the same thing. So they prioritise the DS version (as it has larger userbase and can give better income). Once they finished it, then they started tweaking the graphics, controls and everything for the iPhone version, thus they need more time after the DS version. I don't know, just my take on this.
im pretty sure the iphone and ipod touch have a larger user base than the ds, and the psp for that matter... and this doesnt explain the whole no word at all from ubisoft cos at this point ppl arent so much pissed about it not being relased but more at ubisoft for not caring enough to say anything at all about why all this is happening... btw wouldnt it make more sense to develop iphone and ds versions together if theyre so similar? cos that way they could reach two markets at once... without much effort to get it running on both platforms, like, for example, a console game and a pc game?
^^ it's hard to release a more expensive DS version and a less expensive but graphically superior iphone version at the same time
