I thought we established that gameloft isn't involved? Am I wrong? Is Ubisoft developing and gameloft publishing?
big game companies (ubisoft EA etc) are famous for their lack of communication. I think a few tweeters(twats) need to feel a little less butthurt that they haven't been kept within the giant corporate loop. it will come out sooner or later, but it's not at all likely that you're gonna be kept up to the minute about things.
Let's keep this thread on topic If you want to talk about whether big companies keep their customers in the loop, please take it somewhere else.
I tried a different approach. I went to Ubisoft's website, and navigated to an AC2 dedicated forum. I set up an account and started a thread. Hopefully I'll hear something from them. Gameloft has told me they have nothing to do with the development or publishing of this game so don't tweet them either. I have been trying to use my resources at hand being in the media part of iPhone gaming as well to get a contact but no luck so far. I suggest we just wait patiently for this game to release.

Maybe. But now I am starting to think it's never going to come out, or at least not until after Dec. or maybe summer I think I am going to get Ravensword tonight, at 12:10 midnight if AC2 doesn't come I wish they would say something.
Do you have any reliable source that tells you this? No offense but if this is just your assumption then it's about as reliable at s*** on a stick (Love the analogy )
I just realized that the thead title made in ubisoft forum is titled Assassin's Creed, and not Assassin's Creed 2
