Very sneaky move by Gameloft. They adjusted the prices of certain cars higher without the slightest hint.

You would only know if you pay attention to the car buy offers that appear if you accumulate a certain amount of credits.

All of a sudden, cars that were previously shown to me to purchase due to having enough credits, were out of my reach even though my credit never decreased.

Also, what is with the progression wall in the amateur series, where we need a camaro to proceed but can't even buy it since the price is almost 400000 credits and you wouldn't even make half of that having completed all the previous series. Quite terrible.

Overall it is a solid racing game with much motorstorm vibe but the free-to-play mechanics are too aggressive.

Was this the second (not premium) buggy? I'm sure a couple of days ago it was only 89,000, now it's 110,000.

Actually not just the Buggy but multiple cars in different classes.

Gameloft really should make up its mind on exactly what it wants to offer the players and stop insulting our intelligence.

Edit: They have increased the prices again.
The VW Polo just went from 110000 to 120000.
    Really bad, Gameloft, really bad.

I can sort of forgive it seeing as the game is in soft-launch. They're obviously looking at the data, seeing how quickly people are progressing and making the appropriate changes (adjusting the prices just enough to steer some people toward buying those credit packs without driving too many away...). That said, it absolutely would not surprise me if they continue to do this after worldwide release. They've gotta make money, sure, but it's just a bit too aggressive and worrying as it starts so early. I can only imagine how bad the later classes are going to get.

I can see Gameloft took all the feedback in and changed the game according to what players wanted from it...oh...wait..no..they..didn't.

I'm enjoying it too but do wish they had taken out the oil timer. Seriously, with all the updates that Asphalt 8, I know they had to be making good money just on people buying car packs and premium currency.

If they had left that system in place, I am sure this still would have made them big bucks because it is a great game and a lot of people don't mind spending money to get cars and stuff.

But the timers? That's a huge turn off in any game and one of the first reasons I hit delete on a F2P game if it includes them.

Hoping it bites them on this game.

The car they promoted as "free" if you pre-registered is just first or second car in the game that you get in a tutorial.

I dont have problems with the oil timer, you can always play with other cars while you wait for the oil to recharge. And its only ~30 mins for class C cars. Dont know how much for B,A and S

Calling developers liars is not acceptable behavior. Keep this thread about the game itself, please.

They always make there game with internet connection required.
And yet they are advertising there games as hardcore games. ( ?)
That's my major problem with them.
And other than that this game is a solid game.
    The timers suck.
And the prizes? Where are they? ( batman voice)
Unless there is a single player mode. ( connection needed) I don't see why anybody would spend money on this game.
Do you guys remember " blood masquerade"?
I bought it, but I never had a chance to finish it. ( the servers went down)

Well at least Dirt 3 was free for PS Plus this month. Guess I'll get my off-road racing fix from that while I'm waiting on these timers... hopefully it's not too bad, about to try it out.

    Controller support?

I was surprised that unlike Asphalt 8 this game seems to not have controller support. At least my Logitech Powershell with an iPhone SE won't work with the game. A weird choice, as I would think they just build up on the engine of the last game with has support for controllers.

Anyone else had luck with their controllers?
