Well thats an interesting control scheme. Probably the single most mobile control scheme for a racer in the history of racers on mobile lol. Not bad mind you, feels good and responsive and what not. I expect it’ll alienate some folks though, but i guess its not intended for them. (For those curious you hold down right to nitro and hold down left to drift. The game auto brakes, accelerates and turns. At points in the race you can swipe left or right to choose paths or choose ramps)
Yeah, fast cars and electric guitars. Inspirational arcade programming from developers who understand the mobile mass market. Self driving cars are the future and if they are like this I can’t wait to get one.
Yup, touch, tilt, etc are all present in options. I like this new system though. Fun! I’ll save the technical driving for grid and rr3
Downloaded. Won the first two races in career mode easily (after switching to tilt controls). Seems similar to Asphalt 8. Pretty crazy. Something is running out (fuel?)—it seems that you can't play as often as you want without paying. Now downloading on the second iPad and looking for local multiplayer options. Essential for some friends here and me. Was a real Asphalt aficionado for quite a while. Got a little silent about racing in the last months (except real life bicycle racing). Here you have my Asphalt 8: Airborne -- Koenigsegg Iceland Gate Drift (one of the hardest challenges) video if you're interested: (350,000 views btw.)
This game is awesome and I have been loving it. The F2P mechanic is not bad at all. Tons of loot. Tons of cars. Great graphics. Great environments. I like the new touch steering system. Big thumbs up.
Anyone know how to finish the Hunted game mode? Even when I make it to the end with time I still end up getting busted.
At the end of the level use a ramp to leap the final barrier to escape. Slow motion allows time to get the car lined up.
seriously ? have you even goes deep enough in this game and how many hours have you been in it ? to be able to achieve something out of it I think you have to at least spend $200-300 USD for the Gems > car blue print pack > buy more gems and hopefully you can obtain that Blue print YOU NEED from all the racket in that 10% drop rate so that you can upgrade your car for example. if I need to upgrade my mclaren P1 I will need 35 * 4 Blueprint to upgrade it to 4 stars ..... and guess how many blue print pack I would have to buy to drink that 35 x 4 blueprint in all those 10% drop rate S rank car racket ????? Jesus ! I have to admit the game have a great sense of speed and top notch graphic , which is such a shame they have to go for the money sucking Free to play instead of releasing a $30 usd premium burnout style game......... and look at that first photo I have uploaded , $90 USD for a "deal" for that mc laren and that car is on 1 star grade and not even being upgraded ....................
It’s terrible. I had to sell my house and family just to get to level 3. Good fun though, and I guess the game cost millions to make. The production credits read like those of a Hollywood blockbuster with the list of names going on forever. It’s worth joining a club or starting your own as a good team can bring regular bonuses. Also watch for the daily loot events to gain guaranteed blueprints! But sure, anyone wanting top cars without playing regularly could pay hundreds of dollars. (I just got the introductory Porsche for 2 dollars so I still have my house and family).
are you hired by game loft or some rich kids from Beverly Hill with parent's credit card ? if spending 2-300$ usd on this game then yes, your upgrade car will be able to participate the daily event and be able to gain a position on the ranking to receive some rewards ....and advance in the game... and playing these money grabbing blood sucking "free" to play game makes me realize how valuable games on steams or developer that are willing to spend so much effort on porting Grid auto sports to iOS are AAA games on steam are dirty cheap but people would want to wait for a discount but "free" to pay shit are able to lure people to spend 2-300usd to get pass their paywall by offering you endless frustration, lol , no wonder the whole industry are twisted thanks to people like you
Well said Henry. Come the revolution all games like this will be lined up against a wall and shot! In the meantime, I have 2 vacancies in the Snotrods Racing Club and any interested TA readers will be most welcome to join; especially those living in Beverly Hills. Please advise your driver number or name. Edit: Vacancies filled, thank you.
I think the their direction is changed by focusing more on hyper casual players, obviously now I need to use my pocket for some decent cars for my kids, which I never did before while playing any older version of Asphalt. People likes us is getting odd with the industry or what?
You are right @iosomfg, recommended ranks only seem relevant in the time trials; otherwise stunt driving and smashing the opposition can win a race.
No. It's still fun to play. I'm not expecting to be the top player, just want to have a fun racing game. I like the mechanics and the graphics.
Does anybody know if/when the available cars in the Daily Car Loot will change? I have the same ones since the beginning and those are already fully starred up. No point in playing the Car Loot anymore, except for trading points.
